I would never say that Tusnelda and Martin have a dysfunctional relationship, because they absolutely do not. However, they may both be so focused on taking into account their spouse and their feelings that it can become a constraint on their own development. This is primarily due to the love they have for each other.
I am glad that you can follow my intention because my thought is that this breakup will help give them a necessary clarification of what is on their own half. You can only take responsibility for what belongs to you. It is really not an easy process for either of them. Tusnelda’s internal conflicts affect them both and it is exhausting for their relationship, so in the long run it will be a wise investment.
