To my surprise, Delphine falls head over heels for Don, and their shared romance meter rises very quickly. She actually proposes to him unexpectedly. Since I don’t think it would be like a guy like Don to immediately change his lifestyle, he ends up running away.
I think Delpine is a very strong and independent personality who therefore chooses to continue with her head held high ❤️

Marcus and Jade are a real puzzle. Jade keeps seeking out Martin, and he often gets very jealous if she flirts with others 😅

I’m glad you like the chapter. I felt a little unsure if people would buy Don’s transformation, as he is often a character that people love to hate. The eternal womanizer.
I’ve always had a soft spot for the Sims4 version of Don. He works super well as an opposite and friend to Rasmus.

Making love with women is usually uncomplicated satisfying and fun but this woman has opened a crack to a bottomless deep, a dark cave he didn’t know he was hiding inside.

What a powerful theme! I love how you revisit this motif throughout the chapter and intersperse it with images of Rasmus fearlessly diving down into the depths. Rasmus and Don are such great foils for each other; I think they can both learn something from the other.

I’m also enjoying how you intertwine all the relationships here – Marcus and Jade’s, and of course Tusnelda and Martin’s everlasting one! Beautifully written 😍

Rasmus is so incredibly, blissfully happy in Sulani. Part of me wishes he’d never go back and would settle on the islands permanently. He’s a wonderful chef. I’m sure any restaurant he starts would have great potential. And Sulani is a fresh start for him, too, without the bad memories of Blue and his own low self-esteem.

Martin is wise to let Tusnelda work things out at her own pace, in her own way. Pushing, no matter how well-intended, might have just led to another fight. I really feel for them both, though. When one is on a high, the other one is very low indeed. It balances each other out in a way but it can’t be fun. I’m glad Tusnelda has Flora to distract her and help her see the light in things when she’s feeling down.

Hmm. SO Marcus is jealous at the thought of Jade getting with Rasmus… but until that moment, he didn’t seem to care for Jade all that much. I wonder if it’s dormant attraction, or child-like jealousy of “I don’t want it, but I don’t want you to have it either, so I’ll take it”.

Oh! Kittens! Haha, and neither of them notices a thing. That happened last time too. It’s turning into a habit xD

Oof, his usual flirty antics are hitting him real bad now that Don has learned what it is like to really have a connection. His words sound hollow now even to him. Something tells me he will not forget about this encounter for some time to come.
Poor Delphine, too. He left without saying goodbye. No wonder she feels used and abandoned.I have no doubt that she’ll be just fine.. but part of me hopes that this isn’t the last that Sulani has seen of Don, either.
