It is always a gift to get feedback on whether the characters work.
It is not without reason that you worry about Marcus and Don.

Marcus is perhaps the one I have had the hardest time drawing because I find him somewhat unsympathetic. His conversation with Fatima did something for me. I see him as a character who is primarily concerned with appearing with authority and a spotless facade, but he should learn to embrace his less flattering sides in order to become a whole person.

Don is generally immature and careless with his life. It’s worked out fine for him so far with the readily available pleasures, but Katrina has a different agenda. As long as he does not take responsibility for his own life, he risks ending up as a pawn in someone else’s game.

Also, this line made me laugh so hard XD

When I see what happens in my game, I don’t think Katrina is very faithful. I often see her in bars flirting with random guests. Still, the desire to have a child with Don arose. It doesn’t seem well thought out.

It was quite coincidental and very nice that Elijah was in the bar when Rasmus and Izumi arrived. He is very outgoing so he often appears in the different neighborhoods. He could certainly be a good photographer for them.
Fatima is an adult and Elijah is a young adult. I have paused time in my game, so I do not have a more exact age, but in my imagination there is not really a big age difference between them.
Since Fatima is a townie, she had gray hair when she got a role in my story. Some women go gray quite young so I chose to go with it. The vast majority would perhaps choose to dye their gray hair, but I don’t like that all women have to look like the same ideal of beauty. I think she’s beautiful the way she is.

As I wrote in the Forum, I have had a really hard time getting hold of Markus’ personality, as he often seems very arrogant in his appearance. Suddenly saw him as an emotionally immature man who perhaps did not regret his past, but who now begins to dream of settling down. I’m fine with that picture. His only regret is the child he doesn’t get to know. That loss is the price he paid for his independent life.

Allan is still a hothead but he is never angry with Andy. I’ve become quite fond of him after I chose to develop his personality. Alice can still arouse his jealousy, as she is often quite flirty. She seems quite flighty and immature. I will return to them later.

I was happy to see Elijah bump into Rasmus and Izumi. Could Elijah possibly do their wedding photos? I think he would do a great job. How old is Fatima? I think her hair color threw me off.

Marcus really is a funny sight burning food in his pink underpants–but I did not expect a fire or the drama that ensued! I’m glad that they were able to put it out quickly and that everyone was okay. I hope he quickly tells Jade the truth. If not, I think that Fatima has to tell her at some point because they are “best friends” and you can’t keep that kind of important fact from your best friend.

I’m glad that Allan is behaving, but he still gives me bad vibes. Most people can’t change so quickly, but do have long stretches (months? a year?) of good behavior, so I think it makes sense to be at least a little suspicious of him.

I like how each of the couples is different.

I love that you point out that Don doesn’t want to be a bad father. After all, it is a mature decision.
Don is so used to living up to his reputation as the Sims world’s most famous womanizer that it has become his identity. There is a kind of emotional security in that. What is he beyond that?
Don still mindlessly lets himself be seduced by an alluring feminine coincidence, but I can promise you that Dr. CAS has provided effective protection against Katrina’s tricks and lures. (Occasionally I get tricked by the game or MCCC or an update even with story progression turned off. I hope the best.)

Right now, Alice and Allan have a good rhythm. Allan in particular has grown up and has taken responsibility for himself. Is Alice…?

Rasmus and Izumi’s wedding is finally approaching 💕

Fatima always seems very confident in her surroundings. She is one of the kind of people that everyone wants to confide in. No one but Elijah is allowed to see her insecurities.
Marcus really needed a scolding. I’ve had a little trouble getting a handle on him, but I think I’m finally seeing him more clearly. As a doctor, he wants to appear with a confident facade but he has not Fatima’s mature format. Some things have been too easy for him and the lack of resistance makes people shallow.

Such a contrast with Fatima and Elijah. Those two are so gentle and caring of each other’s needs <3 and even Allan and Alice have settled into a good rhythm. I did not have much hope for them but they’ve really pulled through.

Err. Don. Don… Don you just spurned her baby wish and she’s now immediately trying to take you to bed… Don, do not trust that! That is suspicious as all heck! Don! Don? Hello? … oh, dear.

Bwahaha. I can’t help but laugh at how both Jade and Marcus casually stroll around the clinic in their underwear, and none of the staff seem to care 😂 Fatima was right to call Marcus in for that heart-to-heart, and she’s assertive enough to draw his real thoughts out of him. He needed that. And he needed that scolding, too. I hope Marcus can summon the courage to properly tell Jade everything.

Katrina is fighting for her own dream, but this house is quite a mess 😬
Don is definitely at a crossroads now. Hopefully this will teach him to make some more healthy decisions.
Delphine has a plan and you are right that Don is the target of the ship she has put in the sea.
Elijah may be carefree but not irresponsible. I’m pretty glad I brought him into the story, even if he ended up in a different place than I envisioned. A much better place ❤
Allan is a wonderfully attentive father. He showed that side pretty quickly, which definitely helped shape his development.

Katrina is definitely trying to get her way with Don. She is a family-oriented sim, but she should probably find another man if she really dreams of a happy family with her soulmate.
It’s not Don’s dream, even though he barely knows his own dream at this point in his life, he now knows what he doesn’t want.

Elijah and Fatima are a dream couple. Elijah is very supportive towards Fatima but I think her contribution to the relationship is the sane considerations. They both seem very confident in their surroundings. Not many know their insecure side, besides them.

Allan is fantastic. I’m glad you tell me his development seems believable. It is important to me.
He can still have some jealous outbursts and it’s, oddly enough, mostly when Andy and Alice get too close. However, I have also had an experience with him in the game where I thought wow! I will bring that into the story in a later chapter.
