On the balcony is an easel with a painting. In the painting you see a small Pacific Island ….. It makes me remember that if you open your eyes and heart then you might have the chance to find your Paradise …. Is it real ore is it just a story? ….The truth may be hiding somewhere in the middle.

Once upon a time there was a little boy who dreamed of traveling out to find the turtles’ place of origin.

All man on board! Let the journey begin!

Along the way, he headed east and west.

He met a lot that scared him on the journey.

Pirates and bandits.

Horror, darkness and danger.

But along the way, he also found new and beautiful oceans.

Extra: Postcard from Sulani

It’s night and Finn are sleeping safely by Maria’s side.

In the middle of the night the first contraction comes, and Finn follows Maria into the mainland.

Maria tries to reassure Finn. Don’t worry Finn… I have tried it all before.

Now Maria wants to talk to the midwife.

Auuuv!!!! There is no doubt anymore…

…. Where the hell is the midwife?!?

The midwife turns out to be a very young and terribly inexperienced doctor…. and Finn is sick with worry and runs wildly around the hallways…!

Finally, Maria stands with a beautiful girl in her arms.

She is named Fiona.

Finn looks fascinated at his little daughter who eagerly swallowed the milk.

Now he embraces her little soft body and whispers ….

Duane says good morning to Naja with a kiss.

Finn says good morning to his unborn child.

Then he finds a flower for Maria. Life is good!

Maria has back pain…. The time of birth is approaching

Lanuola looks around in her room. One day she is going to share it with a brother or sister… but right now it’s her private kingdom.

Maria dances…. Right now, she has no reason not to.

Finn and Maria go for a walk while talking about being in the future.

Maria has reached the last trimester and she needs a rest.

Now they are sitting in the local bar.

They have so much to talk about, but they still have a long life together to catch up on the neglected.

It is hard to remember the grumpy and shy Finn from the house in Willow Creek.

Duane gives Naja a kiss…. nowhere is the sunset more beautiful than at Mua Pel’am.

But now they better get on the road so the ceremony can begin.

As the sun has set in the sea, Finn and Maria have said yes to each other….

They are surrounded by all their friends on Finn’s beloved paradise island.

The little girls love it all and their beautiful party clothes.

Finn has baked the cake from home.

From now on, Finn and Maria will share bread and everything else in life.

Naja plays a quiet tune while the bride and groom embrace.

The food is ready, and dinner can begin.

Makoa looks at Finn and Maria…. the two of them have always been destined for each other.

Duane finds Naja in the waterfall.

Some grasp love with utmost ease and obviousness.

For others, it requires more courage and preparation.

Now the moon’s orbit is on its way down to the sea.

The sun rises and a wonderful night has completed its mission.

Finn can’t hide his enthusiasm… I am going to be a father Lanuola! … and you are going to be big sister!

Now three new residents have moved into Finn’s house.

Naja and Duane have got their own little cabin at the far end of the bridge.

Today is Naja’s 18th birthday and she go for a long walk with Bella

When Naja comes home, Finn has started on a cake.

I met some people the other day and it made me remember my own 18th birthday…

It was a day I had been looking forward to for an exceedingly long time… never have I been more prepared

At that time Tom, Jeff and Angelo had moved out and new boys had moved in…

Finn never understood what was going on…. First, they fought and then they were best friends.

There was always quarreling and trouble.

Now the day had finally come, and the headmaster had made a cake.

Not even there could the boys stop fighting….

…. but the headmaster still seemed so happy when he wished Finn congratulations.

Finally, everyone could gather around the cake

At least for a moment.

Jeremiha and Allan both said goodbye to Finn … they had despite everything lived together for several years.

Now Finn and the headmaster stood in front of the large lattice gate.

You are a good boy Finn! said the headmaster…. Now take good care of yourself.

When Finn has walked a short distance, he turns around… In the distance he sees the headmaster.

Finn looks one last time at the big gloomy house and he decides never to return.

But the best part is Naja! …. I have discovered that now it means nothing at all.

Finn continues with the cake.

He decorates it nicely with icing.  

Finn puts candles in the cake and starts to make kava.

Then he turns to Maria. Everything is done now.

Naja looks at her friends and family…. The atmosphere is so loving and warm.

Well if anyone else got time…?

Everyone jumps up from their chairs.

Later, Naja whispers to Duane …. They have something they need to catch up on now.

Finn hugs Maria. Right now, he has a hard time remembering…..

..… what it was that held him back for so long.

When morning arrives, Angelo feeds the cat Archimedes before packing.

The residents of Ohan’ali say goodbye to a very unusual guest.

At that time, Finn is sailing in his outrigger canoe among the islands of Mua Pel’am

Finn does not look back.

He is busy with his investigations of the sea around the islands.

There are invasive bacteria that need to be fought.

Finn looks out over the sea.

Right now, the sun is going down and here the sunset is never the same.

As the last remnant of the sun has left the sky, Finn returns home to his family.

The neighbors have provided the food when Finn comes home.

Naja is still crazy about Duane.

Makoa tries to cheer Lia up… it is difficult as Lia has a very gloomy mind.

Since the New Year and Maria’s engagement, the boarding school has got a new teacher. ….Of course, she quickly becomes part of the clique.

Later, everyone has gone home …. except for a special guest who stays for the night.

The young musician has become hungry and is also heading towards the stall.

Angelo stops eating…. Finn? What are you doing here?

Finn answers that here on the islands he has finally found a home, family, and friends.

Angelo tells Finn about his life with Jeff in Windenburg.

They share a modest home where Angelo works as an artist.

Jeff provides them with a full-time job as a bartender.

He also tells about the cat Archimedes who is their common child.

They do not live very luxuriously but they enjoy their life together.

Now Angelo starts telling about Tom ….

When he left the orphanage, he fell head over heels in love with a confident young woman he saw at a cafe in Windenburg.

Tom and Siobhan quickly got married and held an amazing wedding in San Myshuno City Park.

Siobhan soon gave birth to two little girls and the stylish woman has built a pink world around them.

Tom seems to thrive brilliantly with his pastel-colored woman.

He works hard to become an astronaut…

…… although it can be hard to reach it all now that the pink babies have grown up to two active toddlers.

Angelo and Jeff often see Tom and they have just celebrated the New Year together.

Finn has been listening to Angelo’s story for a long time when he suddenly sees Jeff.

Jeff stands uncertainly looking for Angelo’s attention and support.

Finally, he looks directly at Finn… The orphanage.… we were all scared and maladapted kids… I should never… I mean…

You don’t need to say more Jeff, Finn answers calmly… I have finally moved on now and I hope you too can put the past behind you.

After this, Finn returns to his home and family …and Angelo and Jeff return to each other.
