“Keoni! Are you ready?” Alia asks cheerfully

Soon all the neighbors arrive at the house.

Everyone wants to greet Keoni and congratulate him on his thirteenth birthday.

Keoni is too young to drink kava, but Akia makes a toast with the guests and smiles proudly at his son.

After the neighbors have left, Keoni enters his room and through the window he sees a cloudless sky….
Damn! It’s going to be another crap day inside.

Akia has gone fishing and the rest of the family seems to be having a good time.

Keoni sits down and plays at the dollhouse with Nalu.

Even though Keoni does not go to school, he still does his homework.

As the evening darkness descends, Nalu and Keoni jump into the sea.

Keoni enjoys talking to his little brother.

After the swim, Keoni runs up the shore.

Keoni loves his family, the sea and the fresh air of Sulani …

… but now Keoni has heard of a land where the sun almost never shines.

Keoni has become a teenager and now he is saying goodbye to his family.

He is a healthy and strong kid and he is ready to find his own way in life.

This is the end of a short story about a long-awaited child who for his parents will always be a blessed unique miracle.

The story was originally written as a prelude to a challenge about a teenager’s struggle to fend for himself.
I fell completely in love with Keoni while writing his story in the Danish forum and he has forever changed my perception of vampires in Sims4.
Before they were just disruptive bloodsuckers and now I have discovered they have a lot of cool abilities.

No one knows the future but hopefully 2021 will be far less stressful than this year.

Keoni has become a big boy. He will soon become a teenager and now he thinks back on the years that have passed.

When Keoni was five years old, his mother gave birth to another baby brother.

A little black-haired boy named Nalu.

No one else in the family is fair-haired and no one else has glowing yellow eyes.

When Keoni asks his mother why he looks the way he does …

… then she replies that it is because he is blessed and a unique miracle.

When Keoni asks his father, he replies Keoni should not worry so much about this issue …. they love him exactly as he is. To them he is perfect.

Keoni knows he is loved …. but why is he hypersensitive to the sun and why can he only stay outside at night?

His mother and father want him to be happy and that is why he has received a very special gift.

The kitten Freja is his only playmate and friend in the world.

At night, Keoni swims around in the ocean …. he loves the freedom and the warm water.

When he gets tired of swimming, he builds figures in the sand.

The night is far too short in Sulani and in a little while he will have to go inside.

Now his mother comes and helps him finish the sand figure.

Alia hugs her son … “it’s time for you to go to bed”.

When it’s afternoon, Keoni gets up.

Keoni knows very well that he has the most loving family in the world.

But Keoni still feels completely wrong and terribly lonely.

Keoni clasps his hands and screams angrily … he does not want to play with word cards anymore.

While the parents are chatting, Keoni begins to cry loudly.

Akia quickly turns to his son …

Alia smiles encouragingly at her son …

He laughs joyfully as she tickles his small chubby cheeks.

Now the peace of the house is restored.

Akia picks up Keoni’s food and puts it in front of his son.

Keoni sends the plate to the floor with an angry push !!

Akia scolds… you must eat Keoni! You can not survive on milk and liquid food.

Now the food has landed on the floor, so it still ends up with Keoni getting his wish.

She reads a goodnight story and soon he is sleeping peacefully like a little angel.

With Alia and Akia, there are no shards of joy …

…. and their love is still hot and intact.

In the dark, the snake is lurking.
He remembers the blood that was hot, salty and vigorous.

But tonight the senses of Alias and Akias are fully awake.

The snake hisses angrily before leaving the house to search for another victim.

Later, Akia gets up … a sudden unrest causes him to check the door.

Everything is calm and he puts the duvet around Keoni.

The devils fry, the gold nugget and their little unique miracle.

Alia relaxes in the sun while the baby grows in her womb.

When Akia comes home, she always encourages him to greet their child.

They praise Alia for her beautiful being and carefully notice the unborn child.

It is a healthy and strong child they are expecting …

They can do nothing about the poison where it has done harm … but they bless the child so that darkness and evil never take power.

It’s morning when Alia is awakened by the first woe.

Suddenly, Akia becomes aware of Alias’ tense face.

The child is on his way and never before has he felt so frightened and helpless.

While Akia flutters panicked around the room, Alia concentrates on the birth.

Finally she stands with the boy in her arms.

He is their little accomplished miracle.

Alia put protective arms around the little boy.

Akia looks at the woman and the boy …. the family he has missed for many years.

They name their son Keoni.

Now the long wait has begun.

Alia who is still weak and tired gets new energy from the sun.

In the evening, the neighbors come with congratulations and food.

Akia goes to bed, but Alia enjoys the company of the neighbors until it becomes black night.

Alia gradually regains her composure.

The child grows and tumbles in her body and now Akia tries to get to know the little creature.

One day the sorceress comes for an unexpected visit.

Alia is extremely grateful and invites her to feel her child’s life.

The sorceress carefully notices …. viable … he is … but!?

Later, Alia tells her about what she can remember from that awful night …

…. she is not quite sure what happened, but she is terribly afraid that her child has been harmed.

As the sorceress leaves, she reassures Alia that she is expecting a strong and viable child.

On the way home, the sorceress thinks that even though the child seemed healthy and strong, she did not like the faint scent of snake poison she could sense from Alias’s body.

Alia snorkels around in the ocean while dreaming about the baby that is on its way.

In the evening the sun shines with a glare before it leaves the sky..

Akia admires the sunset and Alias’ steady swim in the sea before heading home.

He can not imagine a more beautiful sight than the sunset and the woman in the sea.

Long after Akia has left, Alia continues to swim.

It’s almost night before Alia returns home and she exhales a startled scream when she catches sight of Akia.

Akia! What happened to you!?”

Then she suffers from an overwhelming dizziness.

The whole world rotates before Alias’ eyes.

As she turns around, she encounters the most frightening sight she has ever seen.

Now he sends his poison directly into Alias’ eyes.

Like an unwilling doll, she collapses and now she feels the bite and the icy lips.

The snake raises its head and gasps for a mouthful of air.

He has drunk a large portion of Alias’ warm blood and now he lets her fall to the ground like an exhausted sack.

Shocked, Akia wakes up from his doze when he hears the bang from Alias body hitting the bridge.

The next moment he feels the poison that hits his eyes and paralyzes his will and all his senses.

Soon Akia feels the dead cold lips, the bite and how all resistance is sucked out of his body.

The snake licks its mouth and releases Akia’s body.

Now he casts one last glance at the two limp bodies. He will remember this place and this hot, salty, vibrant meal.

The next day, Alia tries to remember what hit her.

Her whole body aches and the nausea and dizziness is probably not just due to her pregnancy.

Akia has soon slept for fourteen hours.

Her fruit salad tastes quite awful today and she gives up eating the rest.

It’s afternoon before Akia wakes up.

He tries to help her aching body with a massage.

Whatever has happened, fortunately the two still have each other.

Afterwards, Alia wakes up with a new and unknown hunger.

She wakes Akia and tells him about the child conceived in her womb.

The years have passed and we return to Akia and his fishing rod.

We find Alia on the beach.

As we see, the two are still closely linked….

Someone has told her about a magical place.

At the last minute she stops and considers it again …

…. then the step is taken and she looks around in a new and unknown world.

Alia follows the path she has been described … and now she sees the sorceress.

Alia presents herself politely and tells why she has come to this place.

Now the sorceress lifts her glittering wand …

Alia looks at it fearfully ….
….. maybe she should have stayed home?

In the next moment she is dazzled by an indescribable light !?

Is it now that I have become fertile? Is it the child finally on his way?
