This is in many ways a failed project. When I choose to publish this special edition anyway, it is because these headstrong Sims have once again shown me that not even a fairy can control the world. There is an important lesson in that.

Prologue

Hello dear readers, Mona is back with a note

For December I had originally planned a Christmas story in three to four acts, but my schedule has been challenged by practical tasks in my own life. I accidentally deleted a large portion of my images from my Screen print folder before they were archived and December just magically disappeared.

These challenges are the reason why I publish all four acts at once and the story is not as well worked out and coherent as I would like. I still hope this Magic spinoff can put a smile on your face.

Here I am on my way to my computer to play the sims.

In a world that is often characterized by unpredictability and chaos, I appreciate being able to take control of life. Be a kind of fairy who can create a spirit of order and kindness.

However, even in the world of the Sims, it’s not always as easy as I dream.

How do you bring together a large group of self-determining Sims in a common project?

Exhale. Chill out. Remember this is relaxation.

Before you read. A large part of the text in this spinoff consists more of my comments than actual story writing. I know it’s are a lot looser and goofier than my normal releases. I like to do spinoffs every now and then because they allow me to play with my Sims, my forms of expression and not least the seasons. You can probably consider it a short-term flu. It has an ending.

First act: Preparation

The first act of the story begins in Magic’s house in Glimmerbrook. Magic and her dear friend Nicolas are chatting with a familiarity that only really close and old acquaintances allow.

Nicolas is chilling out to some music.

Ooh… You can dance… …You can jive… Having the time of your life…

“Nicolas? You’re not dancing in your boxers right now, are you?”

“Nope Magic! I’m fully dressed…. and you? are you still wearing your nightgown?”

“Absolutely not Nicolas. I’ve been dressed for hours now.”

“You look great in that shirt Nicolas.”

“I’m not quite sure it suits Father Winter… It lacks some grandeur.”

“Absolutely not Nicolas. That old stinking robe is hopelessly out of date. You have to keep up with the evolution of time.”

“But we can’t sit and talk the time to death. We’re already very late.”

“We should go!”

Afternoon in San Myshuno

Nicolas and Magic have just arrived at the Casbah Gallery in the Art District.
During the transport, Nicolas has managed to sneak back into his familiar robes, but Magic seems too preoccupied to notice.

“What exactly are we going to do here Magic?”

“I’m going to photograph Christmas cards, just like I usually do.”

“If you ask me…That seems kind of stupid. Christmas is long over. We should go back to Glimmerbrook an the Magic Realm.”

“But I’m not asking you Nicolas. The traditions have to be kept, no matter what happens. Here it seems rather boring…Let me see what I can do…..”

“I saw an ancient spell the other day in an old book, called ‘Zauberei und Magie‘. It’s in original language, but that does not make it less effective. Stay tuned!”

Eins, zwei, drei…”

“Gibt keine Hexerei!”

“Ein Wink einer Fee…”

“Es gibt Frost und Schnee!”

As we can see, Nicolas was not turned on during the entire session, but that should not take the energy of a self-conscious fairy.

Now that the external environment is thus in order and the inhabitants of Tusnelda’s world are surprisingly going to experience snow, Magic is ready to take action.

When Magic enters the museum, she cannot be completely dissatisfied with the red colors she sees in the entrance.

Then she notices a guy looking at her.

He doesn’t seem like a complete stranger?…Then she recognizes him as the newcomer from last year’s photo sessions.

She continues to take a closer look at the exhibit.

Jade in a white dress…Magic loves white as much as red.

“I think there is something missing here, Nicolas. The final touch.”

Nicolas seems quite indifferent, but now the creator of the poster approaches.

He seems pretty excited about his own project…

“Hi! I’m Elijah. I created this poster. What do you think?”

“Well? It’s not very Christmassy, is it?”

“Christmassy? ….It’s about the goddess of the sea. You should see the rest of the exhibit and you’ll realize the symbolism.”

“Young man. I’ll be happy to see the exhibition with you. Maybe I can teach you a thing or two about true Christmas spirit.”

Already at this point it looks like Magic has lost Elijah. He must assume she is crazy and she probably is. Nobody but fairies get into the Christmas spirit in January, do they?

Elijah and Magic have just arrived at the exhibit in the basement when Fatima arrives. It’s a good thing because Elijah is probably going to need her support very soon. Fatima kindly greets the fairy.

“Hey Magic! It’s been a while since last time.”

Fatima smiles invitingly at Magic to see Elijah’s latest photographs of the foam of the sea.

She speaks enthusiastically about why these photographs have a special meaning to her. They were photographed on a day that seemed almost magical in her universe.

Magic doesn’t seem to catch her excitement.

“The sea is just nature. There’s not much magic about that…. We should get started on the Christmas cards…. At least you remembered a red hat Elijah, I guess that’s always somewhere to start.”

Elijah hasn’t given up. He’s still trying to capture Magic’s interest in the exhibition.

“If you like red, I can show you some portraits of Fatima in red.”

Magic doesn’t seem like she understands where he’s going.

“They’re not very Christmassy and not at all suitable for children, are they?”

“Children? Why do you bring them on the field?”

“Is Christmassy even a word that exists?”

“Absolutely young man. It means the spirit of Christmas.”

“That’s not what I’m trying to express. I am an artist. I want to show the sea and the foamborn…..”

“Well, I see… I’m an artist too. Maybe you’re not talented enough, because everyone can tell you’re missing the spirit.”

Here Elijah stands and looks into Fatima’s eyes as he searches for an answer to what to say now.

Magic has no time to deal with them any more. She is about to capture the Christmas spirit.

Some big circular arm movements…

“Let the Spirit grow!”

Here we go…. A multitude of sparks….

Second act: Creating Christmas spirit

In this act, we will see more of what Magic means when she talks about Christmas Spirit and how it affects her surroundings.

“Yeaaaah!”

Magic once again spreads the merry spirit of Christmas.

Someone seems to be affected whether they like it or not.

(I think they like it)

(or maybe not?)

“Fatima! What has happened to the room? “

Elijah seems very upset.…

“What have you been doing to my exhibition, you crazy old witch?”

“Do you have any idea how long it took me to make this exhibit? This is gross manipulation. It’s…!”

“Argh!!”

While Elijah has for once lost his calm temper, Fatima tries a little more calmly to get Magic to remove the Christmas spirit again.

Fatima is trying to calm troubled waters.

“Hey Elijah, she promised me that everything will be back to normal once the photo sessions are over. I assume it will be ok, then?”

Elijah tries to find peace in Fatima’s gaze while Magic changes into work clothes in the background.

“Are you sure we can trust her Fatima?”

“Blah, blah blah! If you really want to get this over with you should change out of your outerwear now.”

Somehow, the relationship between Elijah and Magic seems to spark.
Not exactly the kind of sparks I usually refer to, but more the ones that can make a powder keg explode.

Magic takes a small lunch break while Fatima and Elijah change into indoor clothes.

It is now that Elijah discovers that Jade has also arrived.

In fact, Magic has summoned even more Sims, but they are all spread out over the four floors of the gallery. It will soon become clear that it is not very easy to maintain their interest in Magic’s Christmas card project… if they ever had it at all.

“I’m ready Magic. Shall we see to get this over with?”

“Young man. You are far from ready. You still need the final touch.”

Here we see Magic setting the camera lens. This means that now even she is ready.

Elijah and Fatima are standing in front of the camera, dressed in clothes suitable for a Christmas card.

It shouldn’t be a secret that I love them together.

They are such a lovely harmonious couple, always flirting with each other.

Even Magic appears to have lost her heart to them.

“Fatima, how about we sneak out the back door now?”

“I’d love to, but let’s not provoke the fairy more than absolutely necessary until things are back to normal.”

I’m not going to decide whether it’s always wise to bend to the dictates of a manipulative old fairy, but this time that’s the way they’re going.

Magic goes ahead. She has told them to meet her at the bar.

Let me just add that I love this dress for Fatima.

“It’s almost midnight Magic. Shouldn’t you be ending the session for today?”

“Don’t lecture me Nicolas! I have an errand for you at the bar right now.”

The bar in the Casbah Gallery has also undergone major changes.

If Nicolas expects him to enjoy the new cozy interior, on a bar stool with delicious hot mulled wine, then he will be disappointed.

Where the bar used to have a hookah, there is now a Christmas tree.
Nicolas has been given the task of managing the decoration of the Christmas tree together with the other participants. Jade is already in full swing.

It can’t be easy to decorate a Christmas tree wearing mittens, but Nicolas insists on keeping to the etiquette. Father Winter should always wear mittens in public.

Later, Fatima helps with the decorations.

Elijah’s participation seems to consist of supportive conversations only.
We have gradually come to know him as quite intellectual, when it does not concern photography, dance, music (and Fatima). There he is impressive physically.

Fortunately, the task appears to have been completed to Magic’s satisfaction.

“Yes, this is splendid. You are free to leave for now.”

A remark that Elijah does not need to hear twice.

Fatima immediately follows.

She can’t help but notice that Magic seems to have some corrections to their decoration. She seems like a fairy with very fixed ideas about right and wrong.

What a relief to step onto your own doorstep.

Fatima kisses Elijah on the cheek. He has done so well today. It is not easy to see one’s masterpiece being erased, even if only temporarily.

As Fatima continues into the living room we can’t help but see Elijah’s dreamy gaze at the sight of Fatima’s wonderful bottom. He definitely has a passion about it.

Some are in the process of interrupting his dreamy fantasies.

Ambrosius insists that Elijah has taken on some obligations now and he is not wrong.

“Hi Ambrosius!”

We will end this second act with Elijah treating Ambrosius to a delicious snack.

After all, this is what Magic is trying to teach others about spirit. You must remember to treat your loved ones with nice little surprises.

Third act: It gets even more Christmassy

The next day we find Allan and Alice in front of their house staring in amazement at the ground beneath their feet. One must remember that snow is not a normal condition in their world.
As we know, Magic only managed to photograph a fraction of the planned Christmas cards, so we will follow the little family to San Myshuno later.

“What is this white stuff on the ground, Allan?”

Allan looks like he has no idea. However, I also see with satisfaction that Andy is wearing a nice warm suit.

Alice looks rather worried.

“Do you think it will stay here forever?”

Allan looks reasonably relaxed. It must be his many hours on the yoga mat that have fostered this attitude.

I love Andy in the little suit. I would ask everyone to notice how nicely he sits on the ground. It has a later meaning.

Now, however, Allan believes that Andy has been sitting in the snow long enough.

He wants to take him inside and give him some food before they leave.

Andy often has this slightly worried look when he is about to eat.

However, it quickly turns out that he loves the food.

Yummy!

“Well, I guess we can’t take him to the photo session in that state, can we Alice?”

Fortunately, there is a solution to this. Alice bathes Andy while Allan trains with the punching bag. He should preferably maintain his composure throughout the day.

“What does the duck say?”

Ducks say “quack”
And fish go “blub”
And the seal goes “ow ow ow”

But there’s one sound
That no one knows
What does the fox say?

(Well, we won’t go any further down that path now.)

Here Andy and his parents have arrived at the photo studio. They are actually so cute together that I will leave the first pictures without comments. I can’t really decide which one to show.

This interaction, where one hands Andy to the other, I see them do several times quite spontaneously. I love it.

Magic is ready with the camera. Unfortunately, it is not possible to photograph parents with infants in their arms, so Andy is now sitting on the floor.

However, Magic has photographed some really nice pictures with the mod camera I have installed before the photography starts.

Uncontrolled Sims sometimes give some pleasant surprises.

Look at the little boy. Completely happy.

Alice, Allan and Andy has been sent home before the next team arrives.

I love that t-shirt on Rasmus. He’s a vegetarian, he’s a chef and he’s really committed to Izumi. It tells everything about his personality.

Fabio, Tusnelda and Izumi are all dressed in red.

Getting the group together in the photo studio is going really well…

Then the challenges become real. Rasmus and Izumi indulge in a private moment. Tusnelda is going up the stairs to see paintings and Martin and Fabio are going away in different directions. Not even a Mod camera helps here.

Hello! Anyone want to give Magic some attention!?

I love this photo and the next one showing Rasmus and Fabio’s close bond.

Rasmus is a really nice father, while Izumi is strangely a little behind.

After some photos, Rasmus and Izumi go up to the bar area.

Magic has summoned Tusnelda and while we wait for her to arrive she is talking to Fabio.

“What is it like to be a fairy? Did you go to school to learn that?” he asks.

“Becoming a fairy is something you are born to do, but I also went to magic school. You look like a smart boy so you should know that an education is very important. You should study hard so you become wise.”

Fabio thinks Magic sounds like his mother. He therefore asks if she has any children.

Martin interrupts the conversation to tell Magic that Tusnelda is probably not coming back, so they might as well cancel the photo shoot.

It is difficult to be a curious boy with many unanswered questions when the adults take over the conversation. Fabio goes to find his mother.

Finally, Tusnelda arrives.

The symbolism in this image amuses me. Martin looks like a man who is proud of his sporting achievements. Tusnelda looks bored, which she probably is.

There is no need to dwell on them any longer. They both quickly choose to leave the gallery.

Finally, Don arrives.

At the same time, Jade and Marcus arrive for the second day. Marcus seems very taken with Jade today.

For some reason, Marcus’ actions seem to please Don. Maybe it reminds him of many happy moments?

There is no woman for Don this year. Katrina is not invited to this year’s photo session and Delphine is on the other side of the ocean. (Does she even exists in Don’s mind anymore?)

Don and Rasmus. So different yet cool friends forever.

Marcus and Jade pose for a photo shoot.

However, it is Don and Rasmus’ conversation in the background that keeps catching my eye.

When Marcus spontaneously strokes Jade on the cheek, I let the mod camera capture the moment.

Don and Rasmus are still doing what they can to disrupt the intimacy of this picture.

They seem to have enough topics to talk about all day long.

Here, Rasmus is probably telling a cheeky joke that also catches Marcus’ attention.

Don looks like he’s having a blast. Marcus maybe not quite so much.

But you know, guys are guys in the Sims too, so I’m sure they understand each other.

Believe it or not. The last photoshoot of the year is over. Everyone is invited for a drink in the bar.

There is something about Rasmus’ appearance that is irresistible. He looks so confident and nice.

It was actually Magic’s plan to invite everyone to a New Year’s party in the gallery, but it’s impossible to plan. There is no template in the game settings.

These are the last three Sims left and they are all part of Rasmus’ household.

“So how are you really Don? You seem pretty subdued this year.”

“Well, yes. Maybe? I have something to think about, Magic.”

“Maybe you’re having a mid-life crisis? Age is starting to get to you?”

“What!? Absolutely not. I’m still a young man.”

“Nothing to be ashamed of, Don. It hits us all sooner or later.”

With these wise words, the third act ends. This does not mean that the Sims should be cheated out of a New Year’s party. On the contrary. Where there’s a will there’s a way and we should all know that Magic is a very determined fairy.

Fourth act: A messy Christmassy New Year’s blast

Magic has invited all the Sims to a party at her home in Glimmerbrook. It has required an extension of the living room and several hours of cooking delicious vegetarian food. No one should feel uncomfortable at Magic’s party.

“Oh I love it Nicolas! I just love these themed parties and I found a wonderful party template in the game settings….Aren’t you excited?”

Apart from Nicolas getting a new robe in colors to match Magic’s theme, he’s not too excited so far. He fears that by inviting ordinary Sims into his secret private life, the myths and mysteries of Father Winter will be destroyed forever.

There is no time to dwell on it any longer because now the first guest arrives.

For Marcus, Glimmerbrook turns out to be a very cold and desolate place.

Fatima doesn’t have a very easy time finding her way either.

Fortunately, she notices the light in the door when Marcus enters the house. She is on the right track.

“Welcome Marcus. I hope you will enjoy the party.”

No one should say of Nicolas that he lacks politeness.

More sims have now arrived in front of Magic’s house.
But how does it happen that Andy lies unaccompanied on a blanket in the middle of the snow?

It surprises me that he has suddenly become a helpless baby? He has shown before he is able to sit up on his own. Perhaps the party template Magic has chosen is not intended for infants.

“Please, go inside the house before you freeze to death.”

“I’ll take care of this little guy.”

Fabio is here!

He quickly runs towards Izumi when he sees her.

Here comes Rasmus with his cheerful confident gait. He’s never been as close to Andy as he is now. He just had to know.

You would actually think that Rasmus and Father Vinter are very close friends. The joy of reunion seems overwhelming.

Jade looks overwhelmed for completely different reasons when she sees all the photographs above Magic’s desk. They are all here.

“Welcome Elijah! It’s so good to see you.”

Maybe there is some kind of brotherhood between Magic and Elijah after all. They are both amazing photographers.

Magic has invited fifteen guests and eventually a large number of them have arrived.

Luckily, Andy’s parents show up too. Allan picks Andy up from the floor where Magic had laid him on a baby blanket.

An item behind Allan might reveal what kind of party template Magic has used.

It must be disclosed here that I do not have control over any other Sims than Magic and Father Winter. It must go as it can.

Maybe the guests are getting hungry?

First, the template must be complied with. We are gathered for Magic and Nicolas wedding. We are heading into a wedding season in Tusnelda’s world, so it’s great to try it out.

Morgyn Ember arrives at the last minute. They don’t look pleased.

“With this ring I take you to be my wife.”

If Father Winter isn’t going to marry a fairy, who should he marry?

They are adorable together. Although the marriage will maybe deprive him of his position as Father Winter.

Now everyone gathers at the buffet. But if they are hungry, they have to put it off a little longer.

Magic makes a toast and a speech…..

“Dear friends. It has been a great pleasure to meet you again this December. To keep track of how far each of you has come. So many goals have been achieved. I couldn’t think of a better circle to celebrate our wedding together with.”

“Cheers to me and my wonderful guests!”

There is no doubt who is the center of the party, but where is Nicolas?

“Now we’re going to eat.”

“Cheers to that!” exclaims Elijah loudly.

Soon all the chairs at the tables are taken so Tusnelda finds a place to eat in the kitchen.

Allan doesn’t get much to eat because he constantly carries Andy on his arm.

Rasmus turns and looks at them. I am dying to read his thoughts just now, but there seems to be no suspicion.
Incidentally, I wonder about Allan and Alice’s behavior. Allan doesn’t have a single outburst of jealousy and Alice refrains from flirting with other Sims. It’s not because it’s a new save with no prehistory.

Morgyn seems very depressed and angry, so Magic sits down next to them to hear what’s bothering them. It seems to be something with Allan.

“Don’t take it too hard, Morgyn. Today we have a party, we will look at the problems tomorrow if they survive that long.

We return to the living room in time to see Fatima and Elijah finish a deep kiss.

Martin complains to Rasmus. He is probably very tense because he hates large gatherings.

To lift the mood, guests are told to blow soap bubbles. It doesn’t seem to help Martin’s mood.

Magic and Nicolas cut the cake. Maybe the cake will work wonders on grumpy Sims?

Morgyn is definitely angry with Allan. Why?
Allan is behaving so well tonight.

Here I would like to add a little interesting information. When I later look in Allan’s relationship panel, I can see that he hates Morgyn. I have no idea why?

Most of the guests dance when Alice hands Andy to Allan. My heart!

Yup! Have some cake Morgyn. It looks delicious so it will definitely put them in a better mood.

When I see Marcus and Jade together I think they are meant for each other. I have occasionally had my doubts.

Magic has finally managed to get Andy handed over. Now he is put to sleep in a travel cot.

Nicolas has taken over the task at the bar as the bartender seems to have disappeared.

There is still plenty of life in the wedding party. Everyone seems to be having a good time. Even Martin seems less tense.

Martin is sitting talking casually with Fabio. Perhaps he once again dreams of having his own child.

Tusnelda is talking to Izumi when they are suddenly interrupted by a painful scream…

The rocking chair Fatima is sitting on has been ignited by sparks and the fire spreads quickly…..Oh no! Fatima!!!

Fortunately, Nicolas shows quick-witted action with the fire extinguisher.

Everyone runs out in a panic.

The fire is quickly extinguished, so after a while they return. Martin and Morgyn are as tense as they’ve ever been.

“Strangely, Fatima seems to take it all with a smile. It must be the smile of relief.

In such crises, Magic shows her own worth. A quick swing of the wand and the spell “Scruberoo!”. Afterwards, Fatima is as good as freshly washed.

Alice has picked up Andy from the cot to rescue him. It must be the shock that makes her unable to see him.

Forgotten are the fireworks by everyone, except Nicolas. He dare not deviate from Magic’s plan.

Every grand celebration should end with a fireworks display.

There are only 1½ spectators for the show.

Alice has dressed Andy warmly, but to be honest, the show doesn’t interest him at all. He just wants to go back to sleep.

One last pink color explosion in the night sky and they can go inside to get warm again.

Maybe Magic should have cast a spell on the rocking chair as well, but it gets overlooked in all the hubbub.

Now Magic is calling everyone to give one last toast before the party is over.

“Thank you all for making this day so special and memorable.”

I notice Martin’s clenched hands, but a moment later he seems to have changed.

“Cheers Magic!”

The satisfied smile can of course be due to the prospect that he will soon be allowed to leave the party.

Beautiful Jade.

Incidentally, I am happy to see how the couples bond with each other. There is no prelude to any trouble at this party.

I am most happy and surprised when I look at Allan and Alice. Allan has a jealous trait, but not tonight. Maybe it is really the yoga exercises that have taught him to control himself?

Martin suddenly seems completely cheerful.

Elijah and Fatima are still very much newly in love.

Now it’s all over. Nicolas waves goodbye with relief.

The bartender suddenly appears and leaves the party as everyone leaves. Where has she been hiding all evening?

It takes time to say goodbye to fifteen guests.

Allan does the dishes when everyone leaves. He has really developed into a good guy.

Afterwards, Nicolas offers him a drink.

Don goes to say goodbye to Magic.

“So here we are Don. I hope you enjoyed the party… Did you have time to get your thoughts together?”

“Don’t talk about my head. Everything’s turned upside down in here. I thought I’d regained my composure but now….Am I crazy?”

“You’re hardly a crazy kid. Everything will work out in the end. I promise you.”

It’s almost the same words Magic used to Rasmus a long time ago and look how he’s doing now? She may be right.

“Bye Don!”

Magic retreats after Don leaves.

It has been such a long and eventful day.

Andy is still sleeping in the travel cot, so Alice and Allan are not going home. It will be up to Nicolas to entertain them.

Now that neither the bartender nor Nicolas is tending the bar, Alice supplies herself. It is probably about time they were followed home.

Fifth Act: Let the spirit go ( or grow)

In this final act, we will say a final farewell to Magic and the Christmas spirit for this year. As we are already well into January it may be high time, but in several parts of the world Christmas lasts until Epiphany, which is January 6.

Here we find Magic, Allan, Alice and Andy after they have returned home with Magic’s help.

“I will say I have enjoyed your company this year Alice. I know you still have some demons to fight but I believe you will make it.”

“You, Allan, have impressed me to such an extent. Your development should be a role model for everyone.”

“Oh you know Magic. Hard focused training and will power. It’s not that unfamiliar from my day to day work.”

“Alright, I’ll leave you now. I’ve seen you both are caring parents and that’s the most important thing.”

With these words of wisdom, Magic swings the wand for the last time and prepares to disappear.

“Well, maybe I used the wrong spell because I see my guardian Familiar has appeared. As they say, we’ve got legs to carry us on…..By the way, don’t worry about the snow. Tomorrow it will all be over!”

After this, Magic walks away with leisurely steps.

“She’s strange, Allan. You have to admit that.”

“I think I’m starting to like her by now.”

As I turn the camera to follow Magic one last time, I see Allan and Alice.

My heart

Now we have almost seen the end.

Discovering that MCCC has moved Morgyn to a large apartment in San Myshuno, I send Nicolas to the Magic Realm to see if they is still a sage. Fortunately, everything looks normal.

While Morgyn and Nicolas are talking together, Magic and her broom land with recognizable elegance right behind them.

“Magic! Did you get hurt?”

“Of course not Nicolas. It was just a little bump in the road.”

“Well, but…”

“Now that all this Christmas carousing is over, I think we deserve a vacation.”

“What do you mean by vacation, Nicolas?”

Epilog

Well dear readers, with this we finally reached the end of this spinoff.

This is where I usually write a beautiful Christmas card thanking my readers for the old year and with good wishes for all the people of the world for the year to come.

I will refrain from the good wishes this year. It feels like wars and catastrophes just grow inversely proportional to my wishes and dreams. It’s not because I think I have any influence on it whatever I think. It could make me depressed.

Let me put it another way.
I know a lot of Sims players complain about the wedding pack and all the bugs in it.
I will say I find My Wedding Stories quite entertaining. I have now played through quite a few weddings in my game.
It is with that package as with life. If you expect everything to run according to a carefully planned template, you will be frustrated and disappointed. Life is full of chaos and unforeseen events. Not even a fairy has the power to change that. The only thing you have power over is your own behavior towards the people you meet on your way.

I know quite a few people say that in disappointment with human behavior they prefer animals.

Another year has now passed in Tusnelda’s universe and it has been a year since I presented Magic Star in a Christmas special edition. Back then, she promised to fulfill my main characters’ dreams and she helped them to clarify what dreams they had.
At this time of year, all companies update their status and this is also the case with this story. Maybe not everything may have gone quite as they wished.

NB: There may be some references to Chapter 71 that have not yet been sent due to my time constraints. Since it does not make sense to send a Christmas and New Year special edition on the other side of the New Year, these chapters must be sent in reverse order.

Maybe some of you will remember Magic. She is an elderly fairy with magical abilities who has a habit of talking loudly to herself.
Today, however, it mostly sounds like her singing.

“It’s gonna be a cold, cold Chrismas…la, la, laaa…!”

“All I want for Chrismas is mac.. and cheese… la, la”

“Oh! Oops! I hadn’t seen that the readers had arrived…”

“I should have predicted it now… it is this time of year.”

“I just spent a lovely Christmas Eve with my dear friends from the Magic Realm”

“Everyone showed up this year..”

“..including my special friend Nicholas….slightly delayed as he….!?”

“Nicholas! Why aren’t you wearing any clothes!?”

“I guess you should be the first to answer that Magic!…I remember something about last night…”

“Yes, that’s enough Nicholas! We are closing box one”

“Like I came from. Nicholas bumped into the party later, slightly delayed as he had quite a few packages to deliver.”

“Now Nicholas, Would you please put on some pants. I have some suits to show you.”

“Of course my dear. It only takes a second”

“Well! What do you think of red this year?”

“Lovely my dear. Red definitely suits you.”

“Maybe it’s better with green? It symbolizes hope and is the color of nature…”

“I’m really having a hard time adjusting to a world without winter.”

“But when I see the landscape, I can see that the green suit is the right choice.”

“Oh! Hello! I have a feeling I’ve seen you before?”

“You certainly have Tusnelda. Last year at the same time.”

“I see you have achieved your dream of visiting the alien world, Tusnelda…. beautiful pictures!”

“I may not have received an award, but I have reached the peak of my career and I have achieved amazing scientific results so far.”

“You have worked hard and done really well, dear…Is there something you or your husband lacks a fairy for?

“No I do not think so…?”

“Martin is coming. I can ask him myself…”

“Oh kittens! So many cute cats..”

“We just sent two of them on to their new home, to make more room for us to expand the household.”

“Yeah, speaking of expanding the household…How’s your dream going Martin?”

“Thanks for asking, I’m fine Magic.”

“But you haven’t had a baby yet?”

“It’s not because we haven’t tried, Magic…”

“I definitely think you’ve tried enough Martin. The problem here seems to be Tusnelda’s resistance.”

Tusnelda: “No, that’s too crazy a claim Magic!… I can assure you that there is absolutely no lack of marital intercourse on our sheets!”

Martin: “I can testify to that.”

“You are a scientist Tusnelda and yet you are easygoing and unimaginative when it comes to having a child. It seems to me that your priority is lacking.”

“No! That’s not right!…It was me who made sure that Fie and Futte got a new home, to make a empty slot.”

“Well said again dear. It sounds great! ….I’m sorry to be hard on you, but someone needs to give you a clear message… Well I am magical, but I cannot fulfill wishes without you doing your part. Now you have to figure out the rest yourself.”

“I feel your mutual respect and love, Martin, and I have great confidence when I see you and Tusnelda together. I assure you that your wish will be heard.”

“I love visiting you, but now unfortunately I have to move on. There are other visits I have to make.”

I imagine there are a few breathing a sigh of relief now that the crazy old fairy is disappearing out of the garden door?

However, it seems that Tusnelda will go straight to work. You can sense her behind Magic’s right shoulder.

Magic stops in surprise when she sees a dog that will not be unknown to the readers. Not that it has any significance here.

Magic takes one last look at Tusnelda and Martin’s house.

She has a new goal she needs to achieve.

It’s only a short walk and the weather is fine, so this time she refrains from using the broom.

“Oh! There have been some changes here?”

From a distance, Magic sees a boy on a climbing frame.

“Hello boy!”

“Hi, I am Fabio. I like your green dress…Who are you?”

“Hi Fabio! My name is Magic and I’m a wish fairy from a Wizarding World.”

“Are you a real fairy? Can I make a wish?”

“You certainly can. Perhaps I can help you fulfill it.”

“I will wish for a real dog with spots and soft ears… and a toy car.”

“A real dog is beyond my abilities. You must talk to your parents about that. Try to look in the box.”

“Is that a toy car?”

“It is!”

“It was a modest wish and easy to fulfill.”

“Thank you sweet fairy. I have to go to school now.”

“What a sweet boy!….Well, but I can’t stand here and fall to pieces. I wonder how things are going with Rasmus?”

Rasmus seems far from excited about the reunion.

“Oh no! Is it you again.”

“Hello Rasmus. It’s been a long time.”

“Yes luckily. The last time you were here my life fell apart and I definitely don’t need you interfering anymore.”

“Now don’t be so angry…. You have done really well Rasmus. You have had all your wishes fulfilled. You have got a lovely partner and I heard you have got a son?”

“Yes, he is a fabulous boy.”

“Well, him too, but I…”

However, it seems that Rasmus has already stopped listening. What he has achieved, he has won on his own.

Magic follows him with her eyes as he approaches someone out of her line of sight.

Admittedly, a fairy is not needed here… and yet…

Now Magic has spotted Brooke who is clawing at the couch.

“Shame on you naughty cat! What are you doing?”

Brooke stops in wonder… Who is the green lady scolding?

She puts a testing paw forward towards the couch…

“Don’t even try. If you don’t stop immediately I’m going to send a Zipzap spell at you that should teach you better manners in no time.”

Now Rasmus lets himself go from Izumi’s embrace and he calmly approaches.

“What’s going on here Brooke? You know you shouldn’t tear the couch.”

“I can introduce you to Magic. She’s an old acquaintance from my past… You should probably be a little careful with her…She’s pretty weird and has a habit of creating accidents.”

Magic: “I can hear you Rasmus! I’m not deaf.”

“Hello Magic, I’m Izumi. Rasmus’ partner..”

“I know dear. I have to say he made a much better catch with you…but he definitely wouldn’t listen to that last year.”

“I see what you mean Rasmus…she’s kind of weird.”

“I can definitely feel that a fairy is superfluous now, so I must move on.”

Rasmus doesn’t even look for Magic as she leaves. He is too preoccupied with some beautiful seductive eyes.

Magic is moving forward quickly. This time it requires a change of scene to a new city and a new suit.

“This is going to be interesting and maybe not an easy nut to crack, but I can’t fail a child.”

“Hello there!”

“Who the hell are you!? Who invited you?”

“I am Magic. I am a fairy from the Wizarding World and I have come here to bring order out of chaos.”

“Welcome Magic! Are you from a free cleaning company? I don’t think we can afford to pay for your service.”

“Is this something you arranged Alice? Why can’t you do the cleaning yourself?”

“I am sent on a special mission from the Magic Realm and the one who needs a thorough cleaning is obviously you young man.”

“This is too damn insane! Will you immediately make the mad woman disappear Alice….otherwise I can’t take responsibility for the consequences!!!”

“We don’t need cleaning help! Get out! NOW!”

“Now I wouldn’t be so vociferously rejecting if I were you young man. Surely you need my help or do you prefer social authorities? “

“Social authorities? What the hell does that mean?”

“It means you have a problem with managing your anger and your vocabulary. This environment is definitely not healthy for a child to grow up in.”

“No, no, no! I can’t handle to listen to that crazy woman any more…I’m about to explode…. “

“Please Alice…You created the problem so you must be responsible for sending her away.”

“But I have not invited her Allan.”

“It wasn’t necessary dear. I can assure you that I keep a watchful eye on all Sims from my post.”

“Since Alice is obviously not up to it, I will now keep a watchful eye on you leaving the house…immediately!”

“Not until I have finished my work, young man.”

“You’ll find a broom and soap in the kitchen cupboard, so make sure to get it over with quickly.”

“Thanks! It sounds like there is some kindness behind the aggressive layer after all, but I brought my own broom and it’s not even necessary here…. A wand is what I need now.”

“Scruberoo!!“

“WTF! What are you doing insane woman!?”

“I can see my spell is making some impression, but maybe it’s not the right one? Should I have gone with Repairio?… Or Deliriate?”

“Aargh! If you think you can bewitch me with your beech twig, you are so mistaken.”

“I can see you’re a tough nut to crack….maybe I should have used Zipzap instead?”

“Such a lunatic!”

It is unknown why Allan suddenly feels that he needs a bath. He should otherwise be clean down to the smallest ear canals.

“At least we have some peace while he’s in the shower. How do you deal with your own problems sweetie?”

“I know I have behaved immaturely and irresponsibly, but is it so that the truth must always come out?”

“Dear child. How can I explain it?…..Some truths may do more harm than good and are thus most gracious to keep to oneself, but lying is certainly a bad habit that requires far too much effort to continue.”

“What are you talking about now?”

“Why is she still here Alice?”

“I have nothing more to talk to you about. Go home to your witch world.”

“You’re wrong Allan. We certainly have more to talk about. Now I want to make you one last offer….”

“I have a gift for you that you would do well to accept….otherwise I promise I know far more powerful spells than the Scruberoo you tasted just before. What do you say to Minionize that will numb your brain and turn you into a mindless bobblehead from now on?”

“Then give me that gift if it will satisfy you, as long as you don’t touch my brain.”

“I’m actually hoping this will move some pieces in your brain Allan and help you to control your aggressive outbursts….It’s not a spell and it won’t hurt you.”

???

“WTF is that? Are you giving me a pillow?”

“It’s a very special pillow Allan. It’s a meditation stool.”

“Help me Alice…This is humiliating.”

“That might help us Allan.”

“Do you really think so, Alice?”

“I think it takes courage and great willpower to change one’s own mind. I believe you can do it Allan.”

With this we see the sight that no one thought they would ever see. Allan has started meditating.

Believe it or not.

With all the moods calmed down, Magic goes into the bedroom to see Andy. He is really hungry.

“How are you little boy?”

Andy answers her with a huge smile.

You are a very sweet and attentive little guy. Maybe you can really get your parents wish to change them themselves…I mean…Anything can happen in a fairy tale. I will keep a watchful eye on you.”

When Magic returns to Allan and Alice they are flirting with each other. Despite all their challenges, she can see there is something that attracts them to each other.

“Goodbye Allan. I’d say you can be proud of the progress you’ve made today.”

“You can’t say it was voluntary… but now I hope we don’t see your cleaning company again.”

“I am sure that in time you will choose to meditate completely voluntarily because otherwise I will have to return with my wand… I wish you all the best in the future”

“Should that be understood as an acknowledgment or a threat, Alice?”

“I think it can be interpreted both ways Allan.”

“That’s exactly how it should be understood, dear children.”

This concludes Magic’s mission in Willow Creek for now. Now the rest is up to Alice and Allan. They still both have a hard nut to crack.

San Myshuno Arts Quarter

Magic have now gone to the square in front of the Casbah Gallery in San Myshuno where a final task awaits….

Finally Magic has an excuse to wear the Red Fairy suit.

“This broom flies like a dream!”

“Dear friends. I have summoned you here because we have to make a Christmas card for our readers.”

“I am proud to say that I put together the colors and style myself.”

I’m not sure that our main characters feel completely convinced about Magic talent. They seem a bit hesitant.

Now everyone runs towards the Casbah Gallery, except for Magic who chooses her broom…… Oops! It looks like she got off to a rough start.

“Aaargh!!!!”

Magic! The destination is the gallery and not the Brocken mountain

“Interesting, but not the place I’m looking for.”

It has been a lovely morning and Rasmus and Blue have gone for a walk together.
Now Rasmus puts the vegetarian nut pie, for tonight’s Christmas dinner, in the oven.

“Ingredients like almonds, apples, dates, celeriac and thyme makes it a very tasty alternative to a traditional Christmas turkey.” Rasmus explains to Blue. … now it just needs to bake in the oven for a few hours.

“That means we have plenty of time,” Blue says giggling.

“Maybe we could ….?” Blue whispers.

“You need say no more. I totally agree.” Rasmus answers

“We have still plenty of time….”

Rasmus watches smiling Blue sleeping. He still can not quite understand that she lies there by his side every single night and they are now expecting their first child together! He’s a very lucky guy.

He puts on his party clothes and sits down on the sofa.
He has no fireplace, so the television must provide the Christmas mood and the sound of crackling fire.

Blue is awake, hungry like a lioness. She is in her third trimester and the baby requires lots of energy, but Blue still looks so happy.
Rasmus is looking forward to meeting their child. To hold him or her in his arms for the first time.

Rasmus makes the final preparations for dinner while Blue removes invisible stains.

“How are you?” Rasmus asks

At the same time, they hear someone at the door.

“I’m fine Big Man! … let me welcome the guests while you finish the food.”

“How nice to finally meet you, Blue, we’ve heard so much about you.” says Tusnelda happily.

Blue thinks that Tusnelda and Martin are exactly as sympathetic as she has heard.

“The food is served!” shouts Rasmus.

Blue is already hungry again and she immediately grabs a plate.

Tusnelda gives Rasmus a big warm hug before she picks up the food.

“Have you heard I have received an award for being scientist of the year?” Tusnelda asks proudly

“Scientist of the Year? Really?” Rasmus asks in surprise.
“No, I have not heard, congratulations Tusnelda! …. What an impressive honor “

Blue looks with a smile at Silja who eats the food with great pleasure. She really is a charming little girl.

“It looks like nut pie is your favorite?” says Martin laughing to his little daughter.

“Yes, Dada!”

Blue starts dancing but she is interrupted by Rasmus … “Hey Blue, I have got a mistletoe!”

It brings back memories of their very first kiss. It was a long time ago now and it seems almost like it happened in a whole different world.

They are still very much in love with each other.

“Dada, dance?” Silja babbles

“I do not want to dance now, but you can dance.” Martin replies kindly.

Silja dances while Martin goes to where she does not know, but her mum is still nearby. …”Look mummy!” Silja shouts happily.

“I can see you, Silja!” Tusnelda answers kindly.

Everyone moves around a bit at random, but after all, Christmas is a completely unknown tradition for these Sims in Brindleton Bay.

Now some experts are approaching in the distance.

Magic gives herself plenty of time to enjoy the snow-covered landscape and she is accompanied by a very special friend.
Of course, Santa shows up. Christmas Eve is definitely a matter for Santa’s, no matter what Magic may think.

Silja has found some gifts without help and luckily this gift seems to contain some toys for her.

“Kitty? Meow!”

When it comes to cats, Silja must be said to belong to the experts.

Now one senses a shadow outside the door.

“Oh! I sense the Christmas spirit … how nice!”

Martin and Tusnelda stand together by the Christmas tree.

“Can I hear Christmas carols?” says Santa cheerfully.

Maybe he did hear a Christmas carol, but right now the choir is taking a break.

Santa loves the spirit of this small group and he hurries into the cozy living room.

A little toddler hugs her toy and no one else seems to notice his arrival in the room…. before now.

“Dada!” Silja cheers

“Ho, ho, ho! What an adorable child!” Santa laughs.

“I see you have brought some gifts, Nikolai? How wonderful! …… but completely superfluous…. Now it’s time for a fairy to practice some magic.”

While Magic and Santa discusses whether it is Santa or a fairy who is needed at Christmas and who should take over now, Blue has entered the living room.

“Why did you put on your coat?” Rasmus asks in astonishment.

“It’s time Big Man. I’m going to the hospital.” answers Blue

“Now dear friends, may I ask for everyone’s attention! We should sing together for the appreciation of Christmas.”

Everyone’s eyes immediately turn to Magic.

I’m dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten
and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow

“You must go now my dear, I can see you are in pain!” says Magic as she catches sight of Blue.

Now it’s time for her to practice her magic.

It’s like Blues’ words have not really sunk into Rasmus, so she leaves the party with heavy lonely steps.

Her child has chosen to be born now on a Christmas night.

Magic casts another spell.

“Blue! Wait for me!”

“Blue! I’m taking you to the hospital … wait !!!”

“May all your dreams ……..

…..come……

….. true!”

“NOOOO!!!!!!?”

She is gone…

What happened?

It all seemed so real?

The Christmas decorations and guests have disappeared…

….and so is Blue.

“It was you!!! ….

You’re some cursed rotten fairy!”

“You must disappear now, Nikolai, back to the magical realm.… He urgently needs to talk to a fairy.”

“So, my dear lad … do not be discouraged.”

“You must have confidence in your dreams will come true.”

“Was it a boy or a girl? You didn’t even let me see my own child!?” Rasmus asks desperately.

“How should I know? … I’m just a simple fairy who can make dreams come true … I can not see into the future?”

“But you showed me the most important thing … Your dream of marrying a beautiful wife and having a child.”

“It takes time to fulfill dreams … and you must do your part too, lad”

“I have to go now, but I promise you that everything will come true in the end…. I am a worshipper of happy endings.”

While Magic is getting ready to return to her own world, Rasmus returns to his bedroom.

Back to the place where he was before.

Everything and still nothing has changed.

“I’m really busy Liva! if I have to reach it all …. the clock is ticking and they will all be here in a little moment.”

“A real Christmas dinner requires a turkey …. Nut pie? Pfff! It’s madness!”

Ding thing! “The food is served!”

Soon the sages are gathered around the table. Everyone is curious to hear about Magic’s journey.

It went fantastic!” Magic answers seriously. “Now I just have to write a fairy tale and I know exactly what’s going to happen.…. at least as good as almost everything.”

“You should eat some more Simeon! … there is still plenty left of the turkey.” says Magic .. “you too Morgyn!”

While the sages pick up more food, another guest arrives.

“Oh! Nikolai my dear friend, just in time … how was your teleporting?”

“My teleportation’s works perfectly. I actually reached all over the world several times.” Santa answers cheerfully.

“I heard you say gifts are unnecessary. Then you might not want to receive this gift?” asks Santa teasingly.

“Of course I want it you old teasing gnome … Thank you Santa”! Magic replies, giving him a warm hug.

What else Santa has on his mind, it remains a secret between him and Magic.

Next morning in Brindleton Bay

Martin is sitting on the edge of the bed. He can hear Tusnelda in the bathroom.

He had the most incredible dream.

He has dreamed Tusnelda and he had a little daughter …. Just over there in the corner she had her bed.

Now, of course, there is just the bookcase who has always been there.

Tusnelda comes in from the bathroom and sits on the edge of the bed next to him.

That’s how they sit for a long time preoccupied with each their thoughts.

“I’ve had a great dream Tusnelda … I saw our daughter, a dear little toddler.” says Martin.

“I know it sounds weird … but I actually think I saw her too.” Tusnelda replies

“You did ?” Martin asks in surprise.

“Yes, and I flew to a distant planet and won a scientific award!” Tusnelda continues excitedly.

“I will believe that,” Martin replies.

They sit for a long time and look each other in the eyes.

“I think as long as we help each other then anything can be done!” Martin says lovingly.

“Maybe we could start fulfilling a dream right now?” Martin whispers.

Fiona looks at Martin and Tusnelda in surprise ….!?
They just got up and now they go to bed again? Humans are weird.

As Magic would say … Everyone must do their part to fulfill their dreams.

Tusnelda and Martin are definitely doing their best.

Martin starts making breakfast while Tusnelda takes a shower.

Martin looks curiously at Tusnelda.

“What are you thinking?”

“Magic, the fairy … do you think there is such a thing as magic?”

“Nah!” Martin answers, but after a hesitation he continues….

“…. and maybe anyway? …. That’s not all you can explain. Like when we two first saw each other in San Myshuno and we kept running into each other.”

“I think it’s a kind of miracle … something that was meant to be, ruled by something unknown.”

“I think there’s an explanation for most things … but right here I do not know.” Tusnelda answers hesitantly.

After breakfast, Tusnelda does the dishes.

Then she sits down at the computer.

She is starting an online writing course. A dream has told her it will be a good investment.

Martin runs as usual on his treadmill.
He is considering investing in a climbing wall. He knows exactly where they have room for it.

Even though it is cloudy today, he is sure that the future draws light ahead. He has found new goals to meet.

Just when Martin is going to work and Tusnelda is getting ready to go for a jog, Rasmus comes by.

He seems sad and discouraged and Tusnelda listens to his depressed thoughts.

It sounds like his dream has filled him with anything but joy.

“I dreamed of Blue. We were so happy together. We were expecting a baby and then I woke up just before the baby was born … It all seemed so real and then it was just a lie” Rasmus moans.

“Maybe the dream is trying to tell you something Rasmus?” says Tusnelda carefully.

“The dream does not have to be a lie, but I think you have to let Blue go …. She only gives you grief.” she continues.

“I do not know how to let her go.” says Rasmus

“I know it seems like you have to eat an elephant … it can only be done one bite at a time,” Tusnelda replies.

“I’m here to support you and so is Martin … You will make it.” says Tusnelda, “You will find love in the end!”

“Do you really think so?” Rasmus asks hopefully.

“I’m sure you will!” says Tusnelda, giving him a big warm hug.

Tusnelda purposefully goes out into the snow-covered landscape. She has her focus somewhere completely different.

She is ready to make a new space journey.

The rocket set off with a proper noise …

… leaving behind a cloud of swirling snow.

It soon disappears out of sight.

Tusnelda looks around in surprise at the unknown landscape.

Nothing looks like anything she’s seen before … and maybe anyway?
After the many alien abductions, something looks familiar. Maybe she’s been here before?

She discovers some intriguing crystals.
She should take some samples, but first she wants to look around.

She has no trouble breathing, even though nothing looks like on earth.

She discovers some human-like creatures in the distance.

As she gets closer she sees that it’s not humans … it’s aliens.

“Be greeted! I think we’ve met each other before at that Science Laboratory?” she says welcomingly

“I have no memory confirming this, female human.” The alien replies a little distantly.

The next alien seems more accommodating.

Soon, a whole bunch of female and male aliens gather around Tusnelda.

Tusnelda presents herself as politely as she can.

However, some discussions are starting to arise around her.

She finds it safer to leave the group and she chooses instead to talk to another alien she has seen in the distance.

She is quite kind and Tusnelda and the young female alien exchange their experiences together.

When Tusnelda wants to travel back again, she notices some aliens in a fierce quarrel.

She finds it safest to disappear unseen into the Electroflux Wormhole Generator

A moment later, she has disappeared.

To her surprise, she meets a toddler when she returns to the house.

“Hi, I’m Tusnelda and who are you?” she asks kindly

“Mommy!” answers the toddler and looks up kindly at Tusnelda.

Immediately after, she concentrates her attention on Trix.

“Hey kitty!” she says, patting him on the head.

Tusnelda starts at dinner. Martin will soon be home from work.

The toddler has found a tablet and she keeps herself entertained while she babbles contentedly.

Now Martin is coming home.

“That toddler stinks awful!” says Tusnelda as she waves her nose.

“Uf Silja! This diaper is really bad” says Martin.

“Maybe it’s time for a goodnight story,” he continues kindly.

He carefully carries Silja into her bed. “

“It smells heavenly Tusnelda.” says Martin

“Thank you Martin, I’m glad I can still remember how to cook a good meal.” answers Tusnelda.

“What do you mean?” asks Martin surprised, but he gets no answer.

“I have made an important discovery today which I would like to investigate further.” says Tusnelda

It suits Martin quite well as he has to observe an important soccer match. It gives him peace for so long.

Tusnelda starts another space journey.

She’s back on the planet to collect some important samples.

The landscape an indescribably fascinating.

The variety of collectibles is manifold.

There are lots of crystals and alien plants to gather.

There are also a lot of alien phenomena and impressions to digest …. like the floating rocks … how is that even possible.

Tusnelda meets no living creatures this time and she collects some final samples.

Now is the time to return home.

It’s night when she returns.

Martin is exhausted.

“Would you please take care of Silja?” Martin asks … “I need to sleep.”

Caring for toddlers can be very exhausting and Silja is no exception. Her energy level is inexhaustible.

Tusnelda finds Silja out in the garden.

She knows very well that she tends to get very engrossed when something preoccupies her … but how can she forget that she has become a mother?

Tusnelda starts building a snowman and Silja eagerly helps her.

After a while, the body is done.

“Dada !?” Silja says questioningly.

Tusnelda smiles. She’s sure Martin will find that question very amusing.

After the snowman has got a hat and and a red apple nose, the resemblance to Martin is not very obvious.

Tusnelda looks at Silja. .. “It’s bedtime now!”

With Silja in a firm grip in her arms, they walk towards the bedroom together.

“Mommy!” says Silja and smiles.

Just at that moment, Tusnelda notices how her heart is becoming soft and warm.

Tusnelda has embarked on a scientific article on her observations on the planet Sixam.

Martin keeps Silja busy reading a picture book to her. They both seem to be enjoying the moment.

“What are you doing Sweety?” Martin asks curiously.

He gets no answer.

Tusnelda is completely preoccupied with her task.

Silja is busy with her toys, so Martin goes outside to practice some ball techniques.

Martin is asleep and suddenly Tusnelda remembers the toddler.

“It’s well past your bedtime, sweet girl”

Tusnelda melts as she feels Silja’s chubby little arm give her a hug.

“Mommy, book!” says Silja

Tusnelda finds a picture book and starts reading it. She is completely moved to see Silja’s little happy face.

Silja sleeps soon and Tusnelda thinks she needs a break.
She is still filled with adrenaline and feels no tiredness.

She needs to run.

The winter landscape is uniquely beautiful.

The sun begins to rise over the sea as she turns home.

It will soon rise high in the sky.

A new day has begun.

Tusnelda returns to the computer. She has a goal she must reach.

She will publish her dissertation before the next scientific congress.
She is busy if she is to achieve it, without compromising on quality.

She does not hear Trix meow.

Martin has woken up and he has started on his morning routine.

“Shhh Trix! I do not have time for interruptions”

Trix sends her a wondering look.

“If you want to hear what a cat thinks … You’re obsessed!” he says with a dissatisfied meow.

Martin puts one last load on the treadmill before taking a shower.

Tusnelda is still sitting at the computer and he thinks it is wisest to leave her alone.

I’m thinking he’s right here.

He fills the cat’s food bowls.

He is not going to work today and there are no soccer matches he has to watch today.

He goes in to see Silja, but she is still fast asleep.

He might as well go to bed again.

Suddenly, Tusnelda also feels an overwhelming tiredness.
She is very happy with what she has achieved, so she can probably afford to sleep a little.

Shortly after, they all sleep.

It will be a very short sleep because now Silja has been woken up by one of the cats.

“Just sleep on my darling, I’m taking care of her.” says Martin.

He does not have to repeat that.

When Tusnelda wakes up, she sees Martin and Silja in a pleasant conversation.

Tusnelda does not understand how he can interpret Silja’s babble, but it seems that they understand each other very well.

She’s still tired so she lies down on top of the duvet … she just needs to take a nap.

Martin goes to work.

Silja enters the bedroom.

She first continues out into the bathroom, where she finds her potty.
She is a talented little girl.

At that point, Tusnelda is sleeping soundly.

Silja is just a little toddler and such small children should not be left unattended.

Fortunately, she knows exactly how to get the attention she needs.

She cries loudly.

Tusnelda wakes up with a shock!

“Hello sweet girl, we must get in our clothes!” says Tusnelda kindly.

Later, they are both ready to embark on a new day.

” Hey kitty! “

Tusnelda listens to Silja’s happy babble.

She has eaten and now she sits contentedly occupied with her toys.

Now she can return to her dissertation.

At the same time, she is interrupted by a text message.

It’s an invitation to a talent show in the Del Sol Valley …. She’s nominated for an award as the Scientist of the Year!

“I’m set for a price,” she tells Futte overwhelmed.

Fiona meows loudly. She is, as always, completely obsessed with fire.

Silja entertains with the cats. There’s always a new cat she can pet when someone else gets tired of her clumsy pet.

Tusnelda takes a selfie for simstagram. She is so proud, even though she has not won any award yet.

“I think it’s time for your nap, Silja … mom’s busy now.”

Fortunately, Silja sleeps quickly with a smile on her lips.

Tusnelda writes on almost before Silja has fallen asleep.

An hour later, Tusnelda is still writing.

Now the door to the bedroom opens…

“What !? Are you already awake?”

Silja babbles loudly and she emits excited squeals when she sees one of the cats.

“Whiiiee! Kitty!”

“Would you please be quiet! I can not concentrate!” exclaims Tusnelda annoyed.

Immediately after, she becomes very embarrassed.

“Sorry Silja! You’re just a little kid … I should not …” she begins.

At the same time, Martin fortunately comes home.

“Dada!” shouts Silja happily.

“Hey Silja!”

“Have you been a sweet girl and not disturbed your mother?” asks Martin.

“Jah! Dance!” exclaims Silja happily.

He is so great to children thinks Tusnelda gratefully.

A little later, she can happily put the final sentence on her dissertation.

“Thank you darling, you are amazing!” says Tusnelda, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

“Do you call that a kiss? … this is a kiss!” says Martin, giving her a deep kiss

Silja laughs out loud at the sight of her parents’ loving teasing.

“I have written my dissertation.” Tusnelda says humbly.
She can hardly believe it’s true.

“You are amazing!” says Martin seriously.

“Tonight when Silja sleeps?” he asks with a whisper.

“I’m putting her to sleep now,” he continues a little louder.

Tusnelda is very tired, but she sees his loving expectant gaze.

“Tonight.” she whispers back.

“You heard your father Silja. It’s bedtime!”

Tusnelda sends a physical copy of her dissertation by post.

She’s so tired.

But she has never experienced such a feeling of satisfaction before and she laughs out loud.

Maybe she’s right when she does not think about the satisfaction of having a loving attentive husband.

Silja has just woken up and she runs eagerly towards the kitchen where she can hear her parents talking together.

“Did I tell you I was invited to a Talent Show in Del Sol Vally?” asks Tusnelda.

“I have been nominated for an award as Scientist of the Year!” she continues proudly.

“You are amazing!” Martin answers.

Tusnelda sees Silja sitting with her breakfast on the kitchen floor.
She is also an amazing… an incredible child.

“Are you going to be an astronaut like your mother !?” says Tusnelda and swings her around … “This astronaut stinks! You need a clean diaper.” she continues laughing.

Silja laughs out loud with joy.

Martin goes to work.

Tusnelda starts on a new snowman, but today Silja does not participate.

She is more preoccupied with her own play with the snow.

Tusnelda watches her from a distance. Silja happily throws around with the snow in loud cheers.

Maybe she has understood that Tusnelda prefers that she take care of herself?

Tusnelda feels a sting of bad conscience and she walks over to her.
She gets very moved when Silja reaches her small arms up towards her.

“Mommy!” she shouts happily.

“Yes, I’m your mommy, sweet darling” says Tusnelda moved and gives her a warm hug.

Just then it dawns on her that she loves being a mother.

Tusnelda has to leave now and she therefore calls for a babysitter service.

She looks at Silja sitting and looking in a picture book. She’s such an easy child … maybe vtoo easy?

Now comes the babysitter. It’s time for her to leave.

This is the first time Tusnelda has been to Del Sol Vally, but she proudly walks into the upscale venue. She has deserved to be here.

A man introduces himself as the host of the evening and he gives her a brief instruction after welcoming her.

“Dear nominees, guests and television viewers! It is my pleasure to host this show with remarkable new talent. Tonight we will meet …”

Tusnelda is excited and forgets to listen to the rest of the welcome speech.

She finally wakes up then when she hears her name being called up.

She has won an award as the scientist of the year!

“This is fucking amazing!” she cheers loudly

Immediately after, she gathers to give a more dignified speech of thanks.

At home on the sofa, Silja and the babysitter is following the award show in TV.

“Mommy !?” Silja asks aloud.

“Yes, it’s your mother.” the babysitter answers kindly.

Tusnelda can not get her arms down as she leaves the stage and she enjoys the applause.

Tusnelda sits down to follow the rest of the show.

The next prize winner is the young woman in the kimono next to her.

Tusnelda congratulates her loudly as she comes down from the stage again.

“Shh!” whispers the man next to her … “We’re online!”

“Oops! Sorry” Tusnelda replies after which she quickly gets up.

Tusnelda goes to the bar and orders her favorite drink.
She can not possibly sit still.

Now she just wished she had Martin by her side. It feels so lonely not to be able to share this joy with anyone.

She quickly swallows her drink and goes back to see the rest of the show.

Next prize winner is an actor. She becomes at least as happy as Tusnelda was on stage.

Tusnelda watches the rest of the show from a distance. Here she is sure that she is not getting noticed and she claps and cheers loudly without anyone asking her to calm down.

Finally, they have reached the last winner of the evening.

At that point, Tusnelda no longer listens.

She is tired and she misses her family.

Martin is grilling burgers.

Tusnelda sits tired and satisfied and looks at the trophy on her desk.
She does not hear Silja cry.

“Now the food is ready, little darling.” says Martin gently.

Silja happily crawls up on the couch next to him.

Tusnelda goes like in a trance. Is she hungry? She does not know.

She sits down and looks at her family.
Martin and their adorable little daughter, who is now happily running to dance.

“Thanks for you!” she says, giving Martin a kiss on the cheek …. “I would not have made it without you.”

“Since when have you become such an aunt?” Martin laughs after which he gives her a proper kiss.

It has been an incredible day and if it were not for the trophy on the desk, she would think it’s all a dream.

Maybe it’s all a dream? she thinks as she goes to bed.

A wonderful sparkling dream.

In Magic’s home

When Tusnelda has gone to bed, Magic gets up.
Now she wants to see what Tusnelda has dreamed of.

She sees Tusnelda go into the space rocket.

“You are a brave woman!”

Magic’s cats approach curiously when they hear her voice.

“This world is truly spectacular … but you are closer than you realize”

“I can see you’re proud and you have reason to be … you can do it without my intervention.”

Magic follows Tusnelda’s journey attentively.

“Oh! You write a dissertation? I can see you get pretty obsessed when you ‘have set a goal in mind … it’s ok with me.”

“Aha! Here came a little surprise!”

“Invited to a talent show? Why not?”

“You did it! You will definitely become a great scientist one day … even without my help.”

Magic sits and smiles to herself.

“Maybe that means there’s not much for me to do?”

“When one just ignores this part of the dream….. After all, I would guess that this is the biggest surprise for yourself anyway, honey!”

“Fortunately, there is always a need for a fairy!”

After Magic’s visit, Martin sleeps heavily all night.

Outside, the snow is falling heavily.

Suddenly life comes to the bedroom and it is not Martin and Tusnelda who is the cause.

A high howl fills the space

“Dada!”

Martin jumps out of bed with a startled jump.

Martin looks surprised at the little toddler.

His little daughter wipes her eyes and lights up when she sees he is awake.

Martin laughs to himself…. He has been so far away in his dreams that he has almost forgotten he has a child.

“Good morning Silja, have you slept well?”

Martin loves to hug her little chubby body. She is so trusting and loving.

Silja babbles merrily and Martin sits down patiently and listens to her happy babble.

She is a skilled little girl and a little later she finds herself her potty in the bathroom.

Meanwhile, Tusnelda has woken up and she gives him a morning-warm hug.
That’s the other thing he loves.

“You are the love of my life Tusnelda … You and then our little sweet girl.

Tusnelda starts making breakfast.

Silja runs towards the living room, followed by the grown-up kittens.

Silja loves the cats, like the rest of the family.

Hey kitty!

Trix greets her kindly with an upright tail.

Martin follows a football team on television. It’s one of his job responsibilities … and certainly not a commitment he’s opposed to.

“Hi Martin, breakfast is ready. Do you have time?”

“I’ll be there in a moment,” he replies absently.

Silja looks at her parents.

Then she uses her most effective tool to call their attention …. She cries loudly.

Tusnelda squats down and gives her a hug.

“I knew you were going to be a great mom.” says Martin, without his eyes dropping the television.

“Mama, food!” says Silja.

Tusnelda places Silja in the high chair.

It looks like Martin has finally finished observing the opposing team’s player technique.

Silja quickly eats her cornflakes. “Up!” She says.

Martin does not even manage to react until Tusnelda picks her up.

“You have to remember to eat,” she tells Martin.

Martin eats while Tusnelda dresses Silja.
She looks like a little angel …. or maybe a fairy?

Martin does the dishes.

Then he has to go to work.

When he returns home he is greeted by two small chubby arms.

He immediately finds a picture book that they are reading together.

It’s definitely one thing they enjoy together.

Tusnelda has found a box of Christmas decorations.

This is the first time they are celebrating Christmas and it should be celebrated according to all regulations.

Maybe these light chains are a bit exaggerated?

The whole family has put on warm clothes and gathered outside.

Tusnelda continues to paint on an abstract painting.

Martin realizes that it is too cold to play chess and now he is caught by Silja’s gaze.

“Hey, sweet girl, shall we play?”

Martin swings her around in the air.

Oh, how he loves this little happy face.

It’s bedtime, sweetie. “

Martin finds a picture book to read a goodnight story….

… but Silja sleeps before he can turn the first page.

It’s so wonderful to be a father, … just like he’s dreamed of.

Silja sleeps safely.

Martin is given time to play with the cats, but apparently Fie is very frightened by his sparkling toys.

Tusnelda scratches Trix under his chin.

She goes out to build on the rocket.

Suddenly she hears a small voice babbling…. It is Silja who has already woken up.

Now comes Martin. You must sleep now, sweet little child of mine.

Sooner or later, they all finally sleep.

It’s early in the morning and Martin is training on the treadmill as often before.

In the kitchen, Silja is having her breakfast.
She has slept well and she is in a good mood.

Tusnelda keeps a watchful eye on her.

“Now you seem to have finished eating.”

Martin follows Silja with his eyes.

“Dada!” she cheers happily.

A father’s greatest joy.

Soon, Silja is busy with her bricks so Martin can watch his soccer matches as he usually does.

The biggest troublemakers are the cats who meow constantly.

Now he is also interrupted by someone knocking on the door.

“Rasmus! Welcome my friend!”

Trix greets Rasmus kindly. He’s a familiar friend of the house.

“Unfortunately I’m going to work in a moment Rasmus, but you’re welcome inside.” says Martin.

Silja claps her hands when she sees Rasmus.

Hey, Silja! How are you today? “Rasmus asks kindly.

Silja runs around laughing.

Shortly after, she crawls up and sits down next to Rasmus.

Peek a boo!

Rasmus laughs … she’s such a charming little girl.

The whole family sleeps safely.

Now there is a loud cry.

Martin and Tusnelda both jump out of bed.

“Just sleep on my darling, I’m taking care of her.” says Martin.

Silja stops crying when she sees Martin reacting.

“You don’t have to wake us up crying every morning” Martin says a little grumpily.

His face immediately becomes gentle and loving when he sees Silja’s worried face.

“Sorry Sweetie, I’m probably a little tired … and unreasonable.”

Martin puts her in the high chair. Her sandwich is already waiting.

Silja still looks a little worried while Martin picks up his own breakfast.

She quickly gets in a better mood.

“Wow! This is delicious!”

Soon they are chatting casually together. Silja babbling and Martin kindly responds back.

Now Tusnelda is getting out of bed.

Martin enjoys this moment. He has everything he dreams of.

A beautiful wife …

… and a dear little daughter.

A little later, it’s time to go to work again.

When he comes home in the afternoon, he hears Silja’s happy voice through the window.

“Dada!”

“Silja!”

“Have you been a sweet girl and not disturbed your mother?” asks Martin.

“Jah! Dance!” exclaims Silja happily.

Tusnelda sits and listens to their common joy. She has a lovely family … a wonderful husband.

She gives Martin a kiss on the cheek.

“Do you call that a kiss? … this is a kiss!” says Martin, giving her a deep kiss.

Martin hears Silja’s happy babbling in the background…..She seems to find their mutual loving teasing very entertaining.

“Tonight when she sleeps?” he asks with a whisper.

“I’m putting her to sleep now,” he continues a little louder.

“Who threw the laundry on the floor?” Martin asks.

Silja has nothing to say. She goes to bed while Martin gathers the dirty clothes.

Even in dreams he thinks of laundry.

The washing machine gets started quickly.

Now is the time for adulthood.

Their common sparkling delight.

Martin grabs his breakfast.

Tusnelda is so happy. It is something with a great achievement she has accomplished.

Silja is sitting on the floor with her plate.

Tusnelda grabs her and swings her around in the air.

“There’s someone who needs a clean diaper!” she laughs.

“You heard your mother. You have to take a bath,” Martin says encouragingly.

Another one of the pleasures of parenting life.

Silja runs in clean and hugs her mother.

Martin is taking a jog.

The sky is clear blue and the landscape looks wonderful, snow-covered as it is now.

Martin runs purposefully forward.

He does not see an elderly lady in white clothes.

It’s Magic who’s keeping an eye on him.

Tusnelda is still sitting in her sleeping shirt when he gets home.

She is the love of his life.

Silja plays with her toys and they sit down together on the couch.

“You’re the best thing that ever happened to me, Tusnelda.”

“You and our sweet child.

With that, it’s time to leave Martin’s dream.

“Today I will take a closer look at Martin’s dreams”

“She is truly a dear little toddler”

“Yes, I understand the message … I will see what I can do”

It’s one of the moments they both enjoy the most.

They have been playing in the snow most of the day.

Tusnelda and Silja on the sled.

Martin has made his first ski experiences … he needs a bigger challenge than the beginner slope.

Tusnelda looks at Silja….

“Come on sweet girl, it’s your bedtime now.”

It’s early morning when Martin starts climbing.

He is slender and agile like a spider.

The first climbing wall is quickly forced.

Martin gives himself time for a little break.

Only Sims can carry a guitar in their back pocket.

Now he is striving for higher goals.

It’s time to start the journey home and it is most effective with skiing.

Wow! You’ve got it Martin! Flying like an eagle.

The rest of the descent slides smoothly.

She is always there, even in his dreams.

“Climbing? I knew you could not stand a challenge, young man!”

“Martin’s dream is complete and I love it!”

“He’s a delicious piece of manhood… Tusnelda has been lucky.”

“Hi Loke, you’re also a nice guy.”

“Oh yes, so many people dream of parenting happiness.”

“The dream is fleeting. Time goes fast and the little ones quickly get bigger.”

“It will be interesting to see Tusnelda’s dream tomorrow.”

After Magic leaves the house, Rasmus sleeps heavily until the next morning.

He feels completely fresh and in a surprisingly good mood.

He goes to the mirror to see if he can find a change.

Aside from missing his worn nightgown, he sees no change … Nevertheless he feels exceptionally comfortable with himself.

Then he sees something in the mirror …

A tattoo! The crazy old woman has given him a tattoo while he slept. Wow! It looks so cool.

Rasmus sends Magic a kind thought …Thank you, your crazy old fantasist…..maybe you’re a fairy after all?

He’s hungry like a bear and he goes to the fridge to make some breakfast.

Then the door opens …

“Blue? Is it really you?”

“Hi Big Man. I got something for you” Blue replies teasingly after which she lifts a mistletoe over his head.

The kiss feels completely real

“I’ve missed you Blue!….I love you so!…. By the way, you’re ice cold! Why are you standing outside without proper clothing?” says Rasmus, hugging her tightly into his arms.

“I do not remember Big Man! … I just suddenly woke up in the snow in my underwear” answers Blue.

“I love your underwear and I’m sure I know a good way to warm you up” whispers Rasmus with mushy voice.

Then they disappear into the bedroom for several hours. Let’s give them some privacy for so long.

It’s towards evening before Rasmus gets up, driven by his hunger. He has not even eaten his breakfast.

Now she has woken up, the love of his life.

“I’m so glad you’re back”

Blue decorates the Christmas tree.

It should turn out that Blue has another unknown talent. She can play the violin.
Brooke loves it and sings loudly along to the notes.

Later, they go out into the snow to build a snowman together.

It’s hard to comment on all these spontaneous kisses.

Suddenly Rasmus kneels and proposes to Blue.

Here we must remember that dreams have their own logic despite what we otherwise know about Blue.

Of course she says yes.

Who would just say no to a big strong man like him?

They are the only ones that exist in this enchanted snow-covered world, except for a snowman who has nothing to object to.

“Let’s go in and get the heat again,” Blue says flirtatious.

A long day is over and finally Rasmus and Blue sleep under Magic’s watchful gaze.

A new day has begun for the two young lovers.

Couples in love can be pretty boring company for others than themselves.
It seems that Brooke agrees with this assessment.

While Rasmus is at work, Blue starts writing a novel.

When time feels long, she finds the violin.

Finally he is home again.

Rasmus invites Blue on a date to a well-known restaurant.

They serve predominantly seafood, but Rasmus managed to spot a single vegetarian dish.
He is not much for fish, although some vegetarians consider it to be permissible food.

Blue orders a small seafood dish and they order some red nectar because it’s Rasmus’ favorite drink.

Rasmus sends Blue a compliment. She looks enchanting in her beautiful blue dress.

“I will do anything for you Big Man,” she replies flirtatious.

Initially, however, she has to find the toilet.

Rasmus is sitting anxiously waiting … maybe more for Blue than for the food?

“Hi Big Man! I discovered a hidden room on my way to the bathroom, shall we have some fun?”

Of course, Rasmus is always involved in some fun … but now the food is coming.

“Cheers! Beautiful maiden.” he says, solemnly raising his glass.

“Oh they flatter me, my lord.” Blue replies shyly.

Their play is interrupted when a waiter asks if the food tastes good.

Rasmus empties his glass annoyed at the interruption.
There is not really room for anyone other than Blue in his world right now.

“Come with me Big Man, I’m not hungry anyway.”

The hidden room is a more detailed description of a wardrobe.

But anything can be used when one is in need of finding some privacy.

“This is almost as much fun as botanizing.” says Rasmus with a suppressed laugh.

They find their way back to their table without their eyes dropping each other.

“We’d better eat the expensive food.” says Blue

“The food is probably cold now … and I have something I have to say to you” Rasmus says seriously. “Please Blue, I can not bear to lose you again.”

“You’re not going to lose me Big Man … I’m yours forever.”

Their wedding takes place without ceremonies, but Rasmus could never wish for more.

“Let’s drop the food and go home.” whispers Blue.

Their stay in the hidden room has consequences and one morning Blue has some news to tell.

“Hi Big Man, I just found out I’m pregnant. We’re expecting a baby.”

“A baby?” says Rasmus hesitantly.

“Oh, Blue I’m so happy….. We are expecting a baby!”

His life can not get much better now.

The sky is bright clear and blue and Rasmus and Blue make another snowman together.

In this moment, everything is perfect.

He has a mistletoe…..

… and a wonderfully beautiful wife with a baby bump on her stomach.

The baby thrives and soon Blue has grown out of the tight sexy corset.

“Our baby is kicking Big Man, you can feel it here,” Blue says one morning.

Rasmus gently lays the palm of his hand against the Blues’ bulging baby bump.

“You’re absolutely right, Blue. I can feel it clearly.”

“Is everything going well? Are you okay?” he asks carefully.

“You’ve always been such a sweet attentive guy, Big Man … Don’t worry, I’m fine. answers Blue.

Maybe there’s a reason for Rasmus’ uneasiness, because he can not help but notice that Blue often has a bad nausea.

Rasmus has picked up a glass of water. From inside the bathroom, he hears Blue’s loud noises.

She does not seem to be feeling fine.

He wants to spoil her with a delicious pie.

Blue has settled into the large soft armchair. She’s found a book about knitting.

Blue loves to read, but knitting also requires practical exercises, so she quickly gives up her venture.

Oh! Now this damn nausea is returning.

After another trip to the bathroom, Blue continues to write further on her novel.

Rasmus takes a perfectly baked blueberry pie out of the oven.

“Hi sweetie, I made a blueberry pie for you … I think you will like the fresh fruit in the pie.” says Rasmus

“Blueberry pie sounds delicious.” answers Blue

Shortly after, Rasmus goes to work.

Blue continues her writing, under Brooke’s watchful eye….maybe she will pick up the violin?

“The novel is finished, what should I do now?” asks Blue.

“Pick up the violin!” Brooke replies with an eager meow.

Instead, Blue picks up a piece of blueberry pie. “

It is really delicious! she thinks as she eats the cake with great gusto.

To Brooks’ unreserved pleasure, Blue then finds her violin.

Brooke sings happily to the rising and falling tones.

Blue has fallen asleep on the couch and Brooke is enjoying her company.

When she wakes up, she picks up a new piece of pie and turns on the television.
The annual Sims Award Show has just started.

The evening’s host welcomes the audience and TV viewers.

One of the prizes goes to ‘Scientist of the Year’ and Blue sees a lady with a strange hat appear on the screen.

She waves happily to the audience as she tells how grateful she is.

As the scientist starts on her thank you speech, Blue has fallen asleep again.

Maybe it’s the many pieces of cake that have made her tired.

This is how she sleeps for a long time while more prizes are awarded on the show.

She wakes up when Rasmus walks in the door.

“I’m sorry Big Man, I guess I need to get some sleep,” Blue says, after which she goes to bed.

Rasmus looks at the screen from a distance.
It looks like it’s a Sims Award Show going on.

Of course, actors, writers and other people unknown to him are all the winners. There is not even a master chef, so Rasmus quickly loses interest.

By the time the show ends, he is immersed in a book.

Blue is still asleep, with Brooke as a bedmate.

Rasmus reads and does not pay attention to television.

Blue is fresh and awake when he gets home and Brooke does not leave her side.

After a few hours, they sleep again, with Brook in between.
It’s not just Rasmus who has fallen for Blue’s cheerful personality.

Every morning Rasmus rejoices in waking up with his beautiful woman.

Rasmus happily takes to work in safe reassurance that Blue is waiting for him at home.

Blue seems happy. She spends her day writing and arranging household chores.

The sky is bright blue and the future looks bright.

Somewhere Magic is sitting and watching everything.

“Yes, I can imagine … men’s fantasies are so predictable.”

“Oh, he’s such a dear romantic lad.”

“My dear! They are so cute together.”

Magic Star arrived in the parallel world just before dawn.
Her arrival may not have been quite as easy as expected …

This was the reason why Magic had to postpone her mission for a day and take a really long sleep.
Luckily, both of her furry friends had arrived so they could keep an eye on her.

Next morning

In a way, all of Magic’s magical friends are with her on the journey. At least represented as portraits.

The next day she is back in full vigor.
She starts her morning by making a big cauldron full of Mac ‘n Cheese … a food with fewer surprising side effects than Potions of Plentiful Needs.

“Ah! It’s going to be delicious!”

“Now only a small sprinkle of magic salt is missing.”

“It’s delicious!”

After Magic has done the dishes, it’s finally time to practice some magic.

Brindleton Bay

It’s pretty cloudy in Brindleton Bay and Rasmus’ house is well hidden behind the trees.

Magic goes closer with purposeful steps. She is on an important mission.

“Hello there, my dear young lad!”

“AARGH!! Who the hell are you!?” shouts Rasmus in shock

“Calm down boy, do not scare me!…. It’s not polite to shout at an older fairy”

“Should that extended costume make you a fairy?” Rasmus asks suspiciously.

“You should be ashamed boy! … maybe it’s squeezing in some places ….”

“… but, I can tell you that I was once a young and beautiful fairy.”

“The innocent grace of youth is, unfortunately, perishable … even for fairies.”

“But every young lad I met at that time begged for my favor and only screamed with joy.”

“Have you come to her to fill me with boastful stories from your past?” Rasmus asks annoyed.

While Rasmus tries to digest the morning’s impression in the shower, Magic begins to conjure with flour, butter and Christmas spices.

“Ah! This is going to be delicious!”

When the cookies are done baking, they are decorated with icing and edible glitter.

Just then Rasmus enters the living room, freshly bathed and dressed.

“Wow! These cookies are really delicious … maybe I can get the recipe, because I’m training to be a chef.” says Rasmus, in a much better mood.

“Oh! It’s absolutely nothing … just what the fridge was hiding.” Magic answers …. “But now that your mood is better, maybe you’re ready to listen to my offer for you?”

“I have brought this magical gift to you … it will help you concretize your dreams for me … and I am here to fulfill your dreams!”

“Should a root ball, your portrait and a green liquid fulfill my dreams?” Rasmus asks in disbelief.

“Do you see Magic, what I dream of no one can fulfill”

“I fell in love with the most wonderful woman and when I was most in love, she left me. …. no one can fill this void.”

“I am sorry to hear that” Magic replies sadly

“But young lad, you forget who you have in front of you … I’m a fairy and I’m here to fulfill your dreams. I’m in a hurry now so I have to go.”

Before Magic leaves Rasmus, she has given him an instruction he must follow closely.

Now she hurries on. She has another mission to perform and she needs to do some magic.

Rasmus stands for a long time, looking at the gifts Magic has left him with.
A mandrake, Magic’s portrait and a flask with a Potion of Good Fortune.

“How is this going to fulfill my dreams, Brooke? … She’s a weird lady, do you think I should follow her instructions?”

“If it can relieve your pain then maybe it is worth the try.” Brooke responds with a meow.

Rasmus hesitantly grabs the bottle…

Then he swallows the entire contents.

He immediately feels an intoxicating sense of happiness.

He stares for a long time at Magic’s portrait … what is she doing now?

As soon as Magic senses Rasmus’ has done his part of the task, she throws a spell.

“come sweet dreams, come smoothing sleep, let the magic begin!”

Rasmus has hung Magic’s portrait next to the bed, where she can keep an eye on his dreams.
He does not know what the mandrake should do, but he lays it next to the bed, just as he has been told.

He immediately feels an overwhelming tiredness and he crawls into bed even though it is before noon.

He quickly falls into a heavy sleep.

While he sleeps, Magic throws her spells ….

While Rasmus is sleeping, his world is completely changed.

As I said, Magic has another mission. The other main characters in the story of Tusnelda and Trix, probably also have some dreams she can fulfill.

It’s afternoon when Magic finds her way to Tusnelda and Martin’s house.

“Hello young man! I’m Magic and I’m here to fulfill your dreams.”

Magic finds her wand and casts a spell on a group of weed under a tree.

Martin stands as if bewitched by the sparks and the result of the spell.

The weeds disappear like dew to the sun.

Now that he has seen for himself that Magic has some inexplicable abilities, he more humbly accepts her gift.

However, he finds the contents of the package somewhat comical.

Tusnelda has just been released from work and she finds some leftovers in the fridge.

She greets the strange guest kindly.

“Hi sweet girl, I want to ask you both to listen carefully to my offer to you” says Magic.

“My name is Magic and I have come to fulfill your dreams. Therefore, I would ask you to follow my instructions carefully. “

“Dreams? What dreams?” Tusnelda asks wondering.

Martin doesn’t have much more to say right now.

Tusnelda gets up and whispers Martin in the ear … “She is weird, but probably harmless”

Magic watches them closely.

“I say thank you for the offer, but I have everything I want … an exciting job and a wonderful man” says Tusnelda.

“I can see that you are very attached to each other … a dream less for me to fulfill. This is a nice bonus!” Magic answers seriously.

Tusnelda puts the dishes in the dishwasher and Magic follows her.

“My dear, I think you are too modest. Receive this magical gift … it will help you concretize your hidden dreams.”

Tusnelda looks surprised at the contents of the package. A mandrake, a portrait of Magic and a bottle of green liquid.

The contents of the bottle are suspiciously reminiscent of the green Need Fixer serum she gave Masato recently … and he lost his energy like a candle in the wind.

“There is absolutely no spinach in the Potion of Good Fortune, only valerian root” says Magic, as she can read Tusnelda’s thoughts. … “But tell me now girl, you must have some interests?”

“I actually built my own rocket and I just finished it yesterday” Tusnelda says proudly.

“Hi sweetie, I’m glad the crazy fairy-lady has not conjured you away” says Martin when Tusnelda returns.

“I know a lot about serums and as long as it is not a Ghost Goo Serum she has given us, then we can at most get a little tired” says Tusnelda.

“By the way, there is no valerian root in the Ghost Goo serum, so it’s probably harmless”

Then Tusnelda swallows the entire contents of the bottle.

“How do you feel?” Martin asks anxiously.

He feels more relaxed and content than ever before.

As darkness falls, their world has changed.

“This was nice. What an enchantingly wonderful visit to the magical realm … now I have to move on in my preparations.”

Magic begins to make an elixir while still chatting loudly with herself.

“Ah! What an intoxicating scent … this elixir is going to be absolutely magical….”

The scent is devastatingly disgusting and Magic faints and falls to the floor.

Some time later, she wakes up dazed.

“Come on Magic! Pull yourself together!… It ain’t over till the fat lady sings.”

With a quick spell, the cauldron is cleaned.

“I guess it did not work so well, but every cloud has a silver lining.” says Magic optimistically.

“Do not forget I’m Magic Star and I still have fresh ingredients in stock.”

Magic carries the garbage out….

… and now she sees that she has a guest.

“Hey Santa!”

“Do you see Magic, I do not want you put your life on the line.” says Santa seriously.
“The discipline of flying at high speed between parallel worlds is usually only something done by Santa’s.”

“But Magic…….” Santa begins to protest.

“I take one last trip to the magic realm to pick up magic elixirs …. my lack of time forbids me to make them myself.”

Magic goes fast through the snow towards the magical realm

The snow is falling close and in her mind it promises her a lucky journey.

“Now to the magic realm!”

When Magic reaches the headquarters, she is received by Simeon.

“I have a gift for you Magic…. With this Glimmer-stone you can always find your way back to the magic realm …. I do not want to risk you disappearing between unknown parallel worlds.”

“Oh! This is so sweet of you young man.” says Magic

“Those young people, they always think that the world has started with them … that they have to teach you everything.” she mumbles to herself.

“Concentration Magic! Now I have to arrange my packed lunch!”

“This Potion of Plentiful Needs will be useful on the trip and it seems to be of perfect quality …. you still have the craft Magic!”

“Come closer dear Sage’s …. I do not bite!”

“I hope you will enjoy this drink with me to wish me luck on the journey.”

Magic is so glad to see all three Sages have appeared.

“Cheers sweet friends.”

“Excuse me, but time is running out. I need to get ready to leave.”

Then Magic says goodbye to the Sages and finally she says goodbye to Santa with a hug …

“Goodbye Santa … see you Christmas Eve!”

Magic looks around one last time after walking through the portal.

“Oh! This is breathtaking.”

Then she sits up on her flying broom.

“Goodbye dear readers I will see you soon on the other side.”
