I would say this has been pretty devastating. Not least for my motivation to continue…
I have now replaced all the lost pictures, as well as cataloged all the pictures I have used for my Stories. Should it happen again, I am well prepared.
I have used my break to build new scenes and plan where I will take my different characters. It has been quite liberating for my imagination and I guess you could say that nothing is so bad that it’s not good for something.
I have already taken hundreds of new pictures and will soon be ready with more drama in new chapters.

Thanks for your thoughtful feedback. Yes, it’s really stressful. Imgur has deleted a lot of pictures of Rasmus shirtless and I don’t know why the censors find him particularly inappropriate. Strangely enough, Don’s well-toned upper body is not found as offensive. I’m about to accuse the censors of body shaming.
Pictures of Izumi have also been removed several times. I assume it’s because of her skin-colored top, which makes the program interpret that she is naked. I hate this pronounced use of artificial intelligence. It proves once again that it is stupid and random.

I saw that you mentioned the new legislation in the UK elsewhere. I won’t comment on it further here, but I really feel pity about the task you have ahead of you. Making a complete backup of your long story is very time-consuming. I can recognize your concern. I know how much time, energy and creativity you have put into your story so far.
Fortunately, I was well ahead of schedule on the task, but I was missing about twenty chapters. Unfortunately, some of these chapters contain almost 300 pictures. I worked my way through almost three chapters today, but then both my eyes and brain got too tired. I don’t think I can fully relax until I’ve finished them all.

I’m really sorry this has happened. It’s horrible considering how long your story has been going on for. It’s going to take a while to fix as well, which is the annoying part.

I myself am facing my own upcoming censorship issue that is forcing me to back up my entire story just in case, laws coming to the UK this week where many social medias will demand photo ID to prove your age to use the most of their services – which I am not doing because it is a massive safety risk. It does mean that posting my story is at some level of threat given it is mature content, so I don’t know what’s going to happen with that.
